Although the crew were fantastic, the ship is in poor form. It really is rough around the edges which is interesting since P&O had 2 years to sort it. Parts of the ship decks inside and outside stink of a sewerage or waste type odour. This was our first P&O cruise. The photos of the newly refurbished ship were impressive but once on board, it looked very different to the photos. The refurbished carpets & bars were beautiful however they should have at the very least recarpeted the whole ship. We paid what I consider an obscene amount for a balcony room, but were unable to use the balcony.
