Cruised with our family of 16,14 of them first time cruisers. Chose a short cruise, close to home incase anyone didn't enjoy cruising. The suite was superb, the deck, massive. Aft cabin. Quite a bit of noise from the wash behind but I expected that. Cabin staff were superb, cannot fault them. With the suite came perks. The Encounter was once again a delight. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The cabin was nice, the food quite good, and the entertainment enjoyable. I chose an interior cabin. There should have been two travelling but I ended up solo. That was not a problem at all. I have travelled extensively by myself and carry a book everywhere. If I wanted a conversation, I could always find someone to talk with. If not, I read my book. Great cruise. Port visits were fantastic. Recommend preselecting the rotational dining in the restaurants, saves the hassle of booking the restaurants once onboard. Restaurant food ok, Angelo’s being the highlight. Dragon Lady was not that good. Definitely recommend Blanc de Blanc show - worth the extra cost. I have previously cruised with Princess and Norwegian and for me, the Pacific Adventure is better. It is comfortable, relaxed, priced right and the food is generally good, though the breakfast in the Pantry is ordinary. The entertainment is generally excellent. The Marque shows are top shelf.
