To celebrate her 50th birthday my niece decided to invite us all to join her on a cruise and P&O Aria South East Asia was the nominated ship. I flew from Auckland to Brisbane on the 11th August 2018, spent two nights there with friends and on Monday 13th I met up with the rest of the group (17 of us) and we flew to Singapore where we spent two days shopping and sightseeing before boarding our ...

Simply chosen on price, saw it advertised and thought we'd give P&O a go. Decent sized cabin but first let down was the TV, an old silver LG thing, very small with a fuzzy picture, you couldnt actually see the screen from the bed so you had to sit on a small sofa to watch anything. No on demand movies. Our room was next to some really loud machine that started up when we left port for about ...

What a great holiday our family had, what stood out to us time and time again was how well organised everything was, from embarkment and disembarkment, shore tours and entertainment everything was run very professionally. The entertainment team was amazing, excellent shows each night and such an abundance of activities to choose from again so well organised. Our rooms were clean and beds and ...

Relaxing cruise

Review for Pacific Eden to Asia

After just coming off the Ovation of the seas I was a bit hesitant cruising on the small Pacific Eden, but found the ship very relaxing and casual.Overall, I could not find any major faults with the Eden, although the food was below standard in the waterfront and pantry restaurants, where the food was often luke warm. I was surprised at how casual everything was and took far two many dressy ...

Our embarkation was smooth, our room looked great, very roomy, heaps of storage. Problems started when we went to try to sleep. My side of the bed was bone shaking!! I complained to our cabin steward and also the reception and we were moved to a quieter room. We did not book any of the shore excursions on the ship (expensive), instead booking one excursion through trip advisor on Alotau. ...

Good Cruise on Pacific Eden

Very good price for a fly/cruise Singapore to Cairns. This was another cruise unable to tender into Benoa, Bali due to swell. Diverted to Lombok. Makassar, Komodo Island, Dili & Darwin all went off well - but Cooktown too much wind for safe tendering. The buffet food was extensive with the best dessert selection I have seen on any cruise SHIP. All served from behind glass by smiling staff ...

Don't listen to the whingers! Great value for money and pleasantly surprised, very very relaxing. We usually only dine in the restaurants whichever cruise ship we travel on and The Waterfront, Dragonlady and Angelo's did not disappoint and all FOC. We call it controlled eating and avoid the "pig out" in the buffet or Pantry as it is called on Eden. Being served at The Pantry is so much ...

We went on this cruise with another couple who were both having their birthday, booked many months in advance. It was also sailing out of Singapore which I had been through many times but had never explored so we added four days on the front for Singapore and four days in kuala Lumpur on the way home to New Zealand as that was a city we had heard many good things about. It was my second cruise, ...

We did the Thailand unleashed cruise from Singapore. We chose this cruise for the price and reading reviews on here from other people I was a bit hesitant to take this cruise. We thought it was a fantastic cruise, Well you get what you pay for. If you are used going on princess or Royal Caribbean this ship is not in that category, but the ship was right size with the amount of guests it carries ...

Don't listen to the whiners! We have just returned from our cruise and had a ball. Balcony room 9207 was amazing. So spacious, big balcony. Comfiest best we've ever slept in. We got our premium beverage packages free because we booked in advance so we tried lots of cocktails and great Australian wines. The cocktails were some of the best....and coldest I've ever had. The staff were all very ...
