First time back on Aurora since the refit. Although we like the modern, larger ships, Aurora seems to draw us in. We had a fantastic time. We were allocated early dining on a table for eight. As this was the last scheduled cruise by the Aurora before its well-publicised re-fit, we did wonder if standards might be expected to slip, but our fears were groundless. Rather than subject the reader to a tome I shall bullet point our views; Good, quick assisted boarding. Advised to use Orangery for lunch before accessing our inside cabin. Orangery... cold, draughty and smokers sat just outside the doors at either end so wafts coming into this awful space which is no better than an aged ferry.
