Very good cruise 19 days
"Visiting artists were good and offered a variety of shows to choose from, many of them receiving standing ovations at the end of their performance This was our second time on Aurora, and we could definitely recommend the ship. .We had a deluxe balcony cabin, which was spacious and had good space for clothes, including a large chest of drawers, which was better than open shelves...."Read More

We like the smaller ships and particularly Aurora. We had wonderful calm seas for 16 days and then a Force 10 storm with high seas and missed Gibraltar as it was closed. We had already had Rhodes cancelled 6 months before the cruise and replaced with Messina, where we have been many times. The food in the main dining room seemed to be always roast this and roast that, along with 3 veggie ...

This was my 4th cruise and the most expensive. I had high hopes for this one. I've done cruises on MSC, Costa and Norwegian. I was really excited to do a classy cruise, dressing up, nice meals, exciting sea days. We even had a mini balcony suite which was gorgeous. The cruise was Italy and Croatia. The weather wasn't the best, so the ships entertainment was very much needed and this is where ...

We chose this cruise because the ports were interesting. Categena,Catania,Cagliari,Trieste,Dubrovnik,Gibraltar. This was better than the usual ports offered in the Med. Ship was excellent,a smaller ship, easy to find your way around, and plenty of nice places to relax on board. Sun decks have plenty of places to sit without it being crowded with sun bathers. We chose freedom dining, and the ...

Love this part of the world so booked this pre pandemic. Disabled cabin deck 11. Large, light and spacious. Quiet , clean spacious area of ship. Ancient small tv [not seen fot 20 years]. Couldn't see or hear from bed. Sat on edge of bed and i in chair next to it. Hard of hearing and still couldn't read any wording that appeared due to lack of clarity - and this in a disabled cabin! Very ...

we have sailed with P&O a few times as well as with other cruises companies. i am sad to say the quality offered by P&O feels like a company in Austerity but i will start with the good points. The cabin was clean and the staff worked hard. They were very friendly, cabin crew, waiter etc. The weather was good once we reached Greece. Some of the entertainers bought on to perform were excellent. The ...

Choose this as a replacement for a cancellation on the wonderful Adonia, which I was really excited about as it was visiting Bermuda and the Bahamas. However wasn't disappointed with Aurora's itinerary, as we visited Dubrovnik, Sibenic and Mt Etna Sicily to name a few. The ship shows her age when compared to the facilities that are on the new Britannia, but this was to be expected. Being a ...

We chose P and O/Aurora on this occasion due to the destinations offered and the convenience of a UK to UK round-trip. Aurora is well proportioned, smart and generally clean, but certainly shows her age. P and O is cruising aimed wholly at UK customers, with tilts toward tradition and home spun culture which span restauration, on- board media, entertainments, announcements and excursions. We ...

We chose this cruise because of the destinations on offer and to celebrate our ruby wedding anniversary. It is also a short drive to the port for us. Check in was quick and efficient. We had an interior cabin which was fine for our needs apart from the location on A deck (too high especially on windy days) and too close to the bow. Our cabin steward was very good. I was disappointed in Aurora’s ...

This was our first time cruising and we are glad that we chose P & O's Aurora to celebrate our special anniversary year. From check-in to disembarkation, the whole P&O experience was extremely smooth and efficient. We chose CPS parking to leave our car with, and felt like VIPs when we arrived as they unloaded our cases and took our car away. Having been quite independent travellers having to ...

First the journey to southampton was terrible, why they choose this port is beyond me the best way to describe the port is just ugly. The ship was no better a family room cabin was ideal as a single room, the entertainment third rate acts was awful five days at sea only half day at gibraltar embarkation, tv reception was very poor picture was terrible, sunbeds was another sore point ,not enough ...
