I am leaving this review to help people who have maybe looked at Windstar, but are unsure or unable to find much information outside of their website. I had been looking for months for a special trip for us, and I did as much research as i could before choosing Windstar. My boyfriend and I chose this cruise for a special anniversary trip. And my goodness, it was the best trip we have ever taken! ...
We were 28 days on the Connie 3 cruise back to back starting January 24th. We felt that the ship condition was very good. You had to look for problems. It is ready for a refurbishment, but some imperfections didn't affect our enjoyment of the cruise.
We like the smaller ships, so the Connie was a good choice for us. The cabin was clean and very serviceable. Overall, the entire ship was clean. ...
The ambience of the ship was excellent. Service, entertainment, activities during the day all outstanding. We upgraded to a suite which was well worth it. Our butler was first rate. Enjoyed the lectures, the photo classes, and the golf clinics. Food was fine in the Main dining room but the real stars were the Japanese restaurant and Taste for dinner. Not to be missed. No casino which was fine ...
Dear Steve26460,
Thank you for choosing to sail with Crystal! We are very pleased to read about all the extraordinary amenities, services, and activities you enjoyed onboard. At Crystal we...
We chose this trip because of the ship and the itinerary. We prefer the small ships because they have a more personal and intimate feel to them compared to the big ships like the Bliss, Epic, Encore etc.
The entire cruise experience was great. We had a balcony stateroom and it was very spacious and comfortable. Yes, the ship is older so the room does show some wear and tear but it was very ...
We sailed on the Constellation from December 10th to 22nd in a Royal suite. The itinerary was the 12-night Ultimate Caribbean & The Americas, with ports of call in George Town (Grand Cayman), Cartagena (Colombia), Colon (Panama), Puerto Limon (Costa Rica) and Cozumel (Mexico).
This was our first cruise since the pandemic. We were two weeks away from our South Pacific cruise on the Solstice at ...
We've been a fan of Grandeur of the Seas for many years and chose this cruise for a return to one of our favorite ships and for its different itinerary. Even though Grandeur is scheduled for a dry dock late March 2024 this ship is in great condition. We were so happy with the ship we booked another cruise on her again also before dry dock. The things which impressed me the most with Grandeur is ...
The itinerary was our deciding factor for choosing this Cruiseline/Ship. The dates also matched up with when we wanted to be away. Add in that this itinerary knocked a ton of items off our BUCKET LIST:
• Crossing the “Tropic of Cancer”
• Visit Central America
• Transit the Panama Canal
• Crossing the “Equator”
• Visit South America
• Penthouse suite on a Cruise Ship! (Thanks to ...
Given some of the negativity about Connie I was somewhat apprehensive. I am not sure what some folks expect but I have to say this is a wonderful ship with terrific staff. The food was excellent and whilst the staterooms are due an upgrade there was certainly nothing wrong with our Aqua Veranda cabin. The public areas are immaculate and there is always plenty of space to sit down and relax. ...
We cruised from Ft. Lauderdale to Panama Canal and back to Ft. Lauderdale. The embarkation was very easy and smooth. No complaints about that. We had stops in Montego Bay, Cartagena, Limon and Grand Cayman. We could have skipped Montego Bay and Cartagena. The guide on the excursion in Montego Bay just spoke about the poverty on the island. Not what we were looking for. Cartagena excursion ...
We have cruised many times on all the mainstream lines, but this was our first time on Oceania. We loved it and have already booked another one. The Marina is a beautiful ship. The sculptures, the art work, the furnishings are all interesting and tastefully done. Our fellow passengers were a fine group of people, well travelled but not snooty. We loved that there were few announcements and no ...
