I did two connected cruises, first a Panama Canal Transit and second a full ship charter with Bare Necessities Tour and Travel to the Western Caribbean. The Pride has been refurbished, mainly public area's. Fitness centre is very good, light and modern now. I love the size of the ship. It can hold approx 2000 guests and that is just OK for me. Big enough for the entertainment and small enough for ...
The ship may be beautiful, but the organization is terrible. Not enough tables in the main restaurant, not enough sunbeds by the pool. Daily lack of Jameson Whiskey, Jack Daniels, Brandy etc and carbonated water!!!! at the bar of the Black Crab Restaurant and other restaurants that were included in the drink package I purchased. The evening dancing in the black crab restaurant full of alcohol ...
We chose this cruise mainly because it was going through the Panama Canal which was fantastic, but unfortunately two of the original stops got cancelled, the stop in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua got cancelled just a short time after booking and Grand Cayman got cancelled as the swell was to bad for the tenders.
Pros:
All the staff were excellent
The Medallion App seemed to work well
The ...
We felt our experience on Ruby Princess was far less than we had experienced on other ships . Let’s start with the buffet. Although what was there tasted good the selection was like eating at “Old Country Buffet.” Cheaper cuts of meat and less variety. We also felt the entertainment was not of the quality we had experienced before. There was a very limited number of performers. Even though ...
Great cruise for the most part. Did not care for Columbia as the locals were very pushy and constantly bugging us. Disappointed that we didn’t get to see the Cayman Islands as we had a storm the night before and rough seas. They would not let the ship dock that day. Loved the Panama Canal, very interesting. Entertainment and activities on the ship were great, lots to do at all times of day and ...
Overall it was a pleasant cruise. I would go on Constellation again. It is not a huge ship, which for us is a plus. We are happy to give up some of the things that a huge ship has, like more extra cost dining locations and extra bars for a cozier environment.
The biggest problem was that the cabin steward locked my wife on the veranda while he was cleaning the cabin. Luckily, she had a ...
We were 28 days on the Connie 3 cruise back to back starting January 24th. We felt that the ship condition was very good. You had to look for problems. It is ready for a refurbishment, but some imperfections didn't affect our enjoyment of the cruise.
We like the smaller ships, so the Connie was a good choice for us. The cabin was clean and very serviceable. Overall, the entire ship was clean. ...
It was a good cruise except ror the noise every morning at 5:30. The boat is old and in need of some serios restoration. It was our first time on Celebrity although we've been on 22 other cruises; mostly Carnival, but we're getting a little older now and seemed like a good boat to go on based on reviews. The food was very good in buffet and main dining room. The entertainment was very good. The ...
This was our first cruise with Celebrity, having cruised in the past with RC, NCL, and Princess. Our booking was messed up through the travel agent and we wound up booked in an Aqua Class cabin. The cabin itself was tired, worn, and needed maintenance. The mattresses had permanent dips and I flipped those over so we didn't have to sleep in as deep of a hole. Curtains were hanging off the rod, ...
The spa was the best part of this historic boat. Go to the spa and ask for Ivy to give you a massage. Very Good service in the spa. I would recommend buying a spa package as soon as you get on board.
The staff were very friendly aas well all over the boat. And the rooms were clean. The entertainment was not good. The singers were out of tune. They did have a good tango entertainment night. ...
