Relaxing, a good value for money cruise. Very enjoyable.

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

We choose this cruise because of its length (7 nights), the itinerary Civitavecchia, Palermo, Caglari, Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia, and the cost. Overall, we found it excellent value for money. Before getting into the cruise itself, I found the MSC website quite poorly designed - it was not smooth to use and required multiple visits. It also failed to answer ...

Marella Explorer and the crew were absolutely first class. Waiters in the eateries were all very polite, and Geronimo and his merry band were very entertaining. All of the staff were very attentive, always smiling giving a happy relaxed, laid back atmosphere throughout, not stuffy at all. Food was brilliant, everything was immaculately clean in all public areas. Cabin was spacious, ...

This was our 15th cruise with Tui/Marcella and it was the best. It was wonderful to have a door on the shower instead of a wrap around curtain. All members of the crew were great, but as usual the attention of some need a mention. Jesus,Walito and Tamara in the restaurant and Naren in the Market Place all of whom gave such incredible attention to detail. The ship was great, even better ...

We choose to do this cruise as we has been advised that it was family friendly with loads of activities for a three year. Not the case. The ship itself although spotless is a bit tired - I know it has been refurbished but there are areas that are needing a bit of TLC for example the showers needing new screens and not just cleaned, toilet roll holder holes not filled in correctly etc We had a ...

Just returned from a weeks cruise the explorer is lovely ship the cabins have been refurbished a decent shower and plenty of storage we had a small but adequate balcony. The main disappointment was the itinerary which we picked as we had not visited several of the ports before having been on several cruises.Porto Torres was very disappointing 3 of the ports were industrial which meant a bus was ...

Booked this cruise as a party of 16 friends who cruise regularly - between us have cruised on Thompson (Marella), Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess and Silver Seas so quite a bit of cruise experience. As a couple we have had 3 previous Thompson cruises including the 2 Discovery ships and expected the same if not better quality of cruise. Unfortunately was distinctly average with real issues ...

Chose this cruise as it coincided with a special anniversary. It also visited ports that we were interested in. Plenty of restaurants and activities day and night if you chose to do that. We were only at sea for one day so every other day was taken up with shore excursions. Although TUI reps were very informative on these excursions we found that they were very over priced. Friends went off on ...

we chose this cruise as it was visiting naples and we wished to see herculaneum. our first impressions were that the room was slightly bigger than an equivalent one on discovery one (which we sailed on last year). the ship appears fine with the usual layout, dining was excellent as you'd expect on any cruise ship, in this case generally catering for british tastes (although there are more ...

TUI were recommended by a cruise mad friend as a great introduction to this type of holiday. We chose this cruise and ship as it covered an awful lot of places of interest. On the day of arrival we were stunned at seeing the shop and is sheer size. Now of course we are first timers with experience limited to cross channel ferries. And even more stunning to us was this is a sort of mid sized ...

This was the first sailing and it did show on the first day , everything was overwhelmed , 55 mins for a coffee at the coffee port and the Market place was little better than a really poor transport cafe .The quality of breakfast was worse tha n a premier inn so we resorted to cabin service breakfast ...BUT the coffee of the whole ship is undrinkable! Except in coffee port , Marella need to ...
