From arriving in Palma, to disembarking in the Bahamas, the organization was amazing, it ran so smoothly and could not praise the staff/crew enough. the cabins where roomy and nipping clean, the cleaning crew worked so hard, cleaned twice a day every day. special shout out to Milford, one of our parties concierge, from towel art to de-stoning the cocktail cherries, nothing was to much ...

This was our first cruise. We picked it because so many people told us what a fantastic experience it would be . Everyone raves about the quality of food, the level of service etc that you receive and we thought it would be a great way to visit a lot of new destinations in one trip. We love the Caribbean and have spent many holidays on various islands and were looking forward to both re-visiting ...

Originally selected this cruise because we had visited most of the other Caribbean Island's on our previous two cruises, and fancied St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and San Juan in Puerto Rico. Unfortunately, due to the recent hurricane's, these two ports were dropped from our Itinerary and instead visited Pointe a Pitre in Guadeloupe, and Fort de France in Martinique. Both were nice but I ...

We've been on many cruises with different cruise lines before, but we chose this one because we took one of our children's families on a Thomson's Cruise last year and were very impressed, and the timing was ideal as other child care duties were becoming slightly less pressing. We are not yet convinced by the freedom dining concept which means you don't easily build up contacts with staff and ...

Marella Never Again

We had a deluxe balcony cabin which was spacious with plenty of space for clothes. The cabin was immaculate and it was kept like that all the cruise by Art who was the best steward we have had on any cruise. The ship was nice and public areas were kept clean. The all inclusive was very good with a lot of premium brand drinks. I'm afraid that is all the positives. On our first night we thought ...

This review is about our tansatlantic cruise on the MEIN SCHIFF 3: General: TUI cruises has a fleet of 6 ships called "Mein Schiff" and offers premium all inclusive service, which means that beverages are included and that there's no service charge. The language on board is German. As English is definitely underrepresented, it is not advisable for non German-speaking people to go on a ...

We chose this particular cruise to give our family a first cruise. We have been on many Thomson cruises on various ships but not on the Discovery. The ship does not seem to have the same atmosphere as the others. Dining can be a problem,it is virtually impossible to get a table for four at breakfast in the buffet unless you play musical chairs and pounce as people leave. On sea days it is manic ...

Recently returned from 'Marella' Discovery. Have had many fantastic cruises with Thomson & then for various reasons tried Fred Olsen which we have also had some great cruises on. I was on Discovery for the inaugural cruise & had a lovely time however this last cruise just didn't do it for us. We made the most of it as a family & enjoyed every minute & laughed our way through the ...

The ship was nice, but if you like warm food, slow service, and are not in a hurry for a drink, this is the ship for you. My wife even got a plastic surprise in one of her deserts. Apart from the guest comedian "John Glegg ", who was very good, the entertainment was average, not like previous Thomson cruises. We found the ship itself was clean an tidy in all departments, the seating areas were all ...

First Thomson cruise for a few years. Checking in was quick and efficient. Allocated an inside plus cabin on arrival. This is the biggest cabin we have ever had having sailed with P&O, Princess, Celbrity, Holland America. Etc. Well furnished, very comfortable. This ship is definitely a step up for Thomson, (Tui), (Marcella)! Very good facilities, lots of room, well laid out. The staff are ...
