This was a porthole cabin, and experienced very little motion during the particularly nasty moments on the Atlantic. DH got seasick, so the lower we were in the ship, the better. He dove for cover a couple of nights during the evening entertainment. We had plenty of space for all of our things, our clothes were easy to wash in the sink and hang on the clothesline in the shower. I did not like the shower, at all. It ran hot and cold without me touching the controls. We showered at the spa. Thankfully it was only five minutes from our room. Oh wait. Everything was five minutes from our room. The mattress was divine, and air temperature in the room was always comfortable. The porthole rooms have a nifty shelf in front of the porthole that can be used if you choose. I really loved the room, and as long as we had a little bit of outside light, we were happy. Read Less

Deck 3 Cabin 3015 mid-ship. Had abundant closets and shelves for two women. Love seat sofa very convenient. Vanity desk with chair. Mini-fridge. Twin beds felt narrower than normal. Porthole was not obstructed (OV is porthole). We were very happy to be on Deck 3, in winter (Dec) in Mediterranean had 4 days of rough seas (Captain ordered porthole closed). Those in higher decks felt the waves more. We missed 3 Mediterranean ports due to storms. Once we sailed out of the Mediterranean, got to Tenerife, and into the transatlantic crossing, it was very smooth sailing, and every day was sunny and warm towards Fort Lauderdale. Read Less

We accepted an upgrade from our inside cabin and ended up with a restricted ocean-view 6043 which means we were looking at the side of tender. If you got down on your knees you could see past the tender. The room was smaller and there was no couch although the rooms was quiet. We complained bitterly and got moved to 6004 on the 8th day. This room was much bigger but it was noisy and if the entertainment was practicing then you felt like you were there with them. You had to get up early because you heard the bow thrusters and the anchors. Read Less
