1-10 of 10 Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas Outside Cabin Cruise Reviews
We sailed on Ovation of the Seas in November 2019 and whilst the ship is impressive, the overall experience that Royal Caribbean provides is so very disappointing.
We knew that our young son was too young for kids club before going and we were fine with that - we wanted a holiday where he would be with us. BUT nowhere in any paperwork prior to boarding did it say that he would not be allowed in ...
I travelled to Seattle with my family for this Alaska cruise. My daughter is in a wheelchair so we had booked an accessible cabin.
Our taxi driver was waiting for us at the airport and it took about 30 minutes to reach the cruise terminal.
Embarkation was smooth and problem-free. Our cabin, an accessible oceanview on Deck 3, was spacious and comfortable.
Dining in both the restaurant ...
We chose this ship for the destination and because our group of 13 had 3 children who we thought would enjoy the variety of activities. I was disappointed in the Ovation and will not likely use RCI again. This was our second cruise and if it had been our first, it likely would have been our last.
Embarkation was a mess to put it bluntly, just throngs of people milling around with no clear ...
The Ovation of the Seas is an amazing ship, and was almost perfect for a cruise to Alaska. I'd say you need to enjoy a "big" ship experience to get the most out of cruising on Ovation. This is most definitely a great ship for a multi-generational group; it has something for everyone. Most of the time I was able to find a quiet place or an activity depending on my mood. We didn't travel with ...
We went on this cruise as part of a group of 20. We have always wanted to cruise to new Zealand and RCI had some great prices so we eneded up on the Ovation.
We went during the school term so children overload on board wasnt a problem and there were plenty of activities for the kids and yong at heart to do. Some waiting in line is required at some activities such as the flow rider, dogem cars ...
Chose this cruise as we came from the UK and thought we could take the opportunity to visit Sidney and New Zealand. Things NOT to like - too many people trying to upsell you someting. Main area of ship like an airport shopping area. Evening bars are too close so you hear the different bands in whatever one you choosre meaning there is just a general noise. Second class entertainment in essance a ...
Embarkment at Sydney was a long long snake line & took a great deal of time to board.
Disembarkation was a breeze.
Take your own bags off, super fast.
Take extra cloths!
As there is only a laundry service for a small bag that cost Aprox $37 US.
No laundries for guests to use
Very hard when you travel with children
Everything is charged in US dollars.
Take some washing soap ...
Ovation of the Seas has some amazing features and it is worth travelling at least once on the ship. We do prefer the Voyager of the Seas.
The entertainment was amazing and unlike other ships, we would have liked the ships entertainers to do more shows. We travelled for 14 days and really only had 2 shows from the on board entertainers and they were excellent. The worst was a comedian who was ...
Keen to try the larger ship for the first time.
The OVation is a beautiful ship only 2 yr. young, the artwork & walk throughs are great, 270 at back of ship is great venue with the robots entertaining the humans. The theatre handles the large number of passengers & the smaller venues cope well with passenger numbers.
The staff were excellent, cannot fault, they are eager to please & satisfy ...
What a wonderful ship, had the best time, This ship is amazing it will be very hard to go back on any older ships have been totally spoiled. My cabin was spacious on deck 8 superior ocen view, maybe the only other thing I would change is to be on the other side of the ship going up the coast from Brisbane to Darwin just amazing coast line. All dining on board was great can't say I had one bad ...
