Same as the Deluxe balcony cabins without the balcony. Much bigger than the standard outside and little more expensive. Roomy and well equipped but with a strange sound of rushing water occasionally which we never discovered the reason for. But no reason not to book it. Read entire member review >>
A smaller cabin than on other ships. A small wardrobe with limited hanging space. Safe was inside wardrobe at inconvenient floor level, especially if you had difficulty bending. Flowers and sweets in cabin were a nice touch but totally unnecessary. TV not interactive, not many channels. Tea bags tasted stale so had to bring more from Conservatory. We had an outside cabin with a window on deck 9. The cabin was comfortable and clean. We had tea and coffee making facilities ,a TV and toiletries provided by the White company.
Our cabin steward was very attentive and very friendly, always helpful. Read entire member review >>
Generally very good but with tiny TV and rock hard pillows. Nice bathroom but why do they fix the shower / bath gel to the wall in such a position that it is not convenient for the shower or the bath? Read entire member review >>
Cabin ok although toilet overflowed in first few days as a washer was broken. Our carpet was soaked so during the evening we had a dryer which worked well. We were given a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. The weather was not good being very windy. The seals on the window did not keep the noise or draught out. Read entire member review >>
C158 Category EA - Deluxe Outside Cabin
Excellent cabin in all respects; clean spacious and airy. Only drawback was that it was a long way to the buffet dining (opposite end of the ship). Read entire member review >>
bath shower & toilet all worked well
main beds comfortable, third pull out bed - uncomfortable . we took turns.
Plenty of space for two a bit tight for three, needed to store some clothes in cases, we took some soft cases to fit under beds.
some drawers were worn but storage adequate.
large window needed cleaning externally, not as clean as general areas.
Promenade deck 7 one of our frequently used areas for walking, Except Bow section when strong winds or access for crew duties.
Top deck used for running around ship early morning with sport activities.
Including left & right handed golf clubs, used twice, still need practice.
Cabin on deck 9 which provided external Stern access to all decks, which we used for exercise to Conservatory restaurant deck 11.
two three pin uk sockets one used for kettle. We took a few extra drink sashes. BUT Lemon & Ginger & other specialist teas were available in Conservatory at day times, or Ask cabin Steward. Read entire member review >>
Good size cabin, robes and slippers provided, good views, quite location not too far from the lifts either way. Plenty of wardrobe space, the cabins are looking tired, not sure if they will be refurbished when the ship goes in for a refit in November Read entire member review >>
