Two lower beds convertible to 1 queen-size bed, bathroom with dual-sink vanity, full-size whirlpool bath & shower & additional shower stall, large sitting area, , private verandah, 1 sofa bed for 1 person, floor-to-ceiling windows. Approximately 372–384 sq. ft. including verandah.
Beautiful cabin - lots of room in cabin and in bathroom (dual sinks and separate shower/bath). Comfortable bed although thermostat needs to be adjusted often (while in cabin the temp would go cold to warm to cold). Read entire member review >>
Great cabin with a little extra space both inside and on the balcony. However, you are not able to see out of balcony door from some parts of the cabin, so if you love to gaze at the sea from the bed this may not be for you.
The TV was very large, and USB ports by the bed made it easy to charge devices overnight. Read entire member review >>
We have had an identical type of signature suite on Oosterdam on a cruise we took on the ship shortly before last year's renovation of the ship. There was significant improvement in the cabin (e.g. new large interactive wall-mounted flat screen TV, added electrical outlets and USB charging ports, big and brighter mirrors in bathroom, etc.) Read entire member review >>
Superb. the recent upgrades made earlier this year were so nice, led lighting, huge TV screen, in room movies, shows. mid-aft ship, little roll or pitch with ship, quiet location. Read entire member review >>
Having celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary recently we sprung for a Signature Suite. Although we've booked Verandas and outside cabins on other sailings, a little over half of our cruises have been in this cabin category. With a CPAP we make use of an electrical outlet near the bed in an SS rather than running an extension cord across the floor in a Veranda cabin. The larger cabin isn't a necessity but access to an electrical outlet is. For example, our "C" outside cabin on the Ryndam also had a well-placed outlet for the CPAP.
The SS has experienced some upgrades since our last time in one. Our dinner companions had a rear-facing VB cabin and it did not include any of these upgrades.
- The old dark countertops have been replaced by light colored ones.
- There are two additional outlet pairs (120 volt and 220 volt), one above each nightstand.
- The nightlight we usually bring along remained in our suitcase because there are now two LED nightlights in the ceiling of the bathroom.
- The TV on the desktop has been replaced by a huge widescreen LED TV on the cabin wall. This freed up a lot of counter space.
- The old mirrored cupboards are now gone from the bathroom. A drawer between the two sinks somewhat makes up for that lost storage space. Read entire member review >>
We were in a SS cabin again. We were on this ship in a SS in March (before the refit). New flat panel tv fitted and new sofa. Carpet and drapes replaced. Biggest change is bathroom, which is now bright and inviting, with a modern tile backing. Better LED lights and a blue night light in the bathroom is a great addition. Loved the separate shower cubicle.
Only negative in the new bathroom was that the corner eye level storage cabinets had been removed, but there was adequate storage under the sinks with a large drawer and a shelf. Read entire member review >>
Clean, roomy, lots of space, but more life vests than we needed. Our steward was cheerful and attentive. The robes provided were so comfy that I purchased one! The balcony was a perfect place to have morning coffee (delivered by room service) and watch the scenery. I loved the cabin! Read entire member review >>
Fantastic cabin with lots of room. Huge flat panel, high res TV (48") with a digital library of hundreds of movies/TV shows. Large verandah with comfortable, cushioned seating. Double vanity bathroom with separate shower/whirlpool tub. Read entire member review >>
We were assigned a tiny room originally. Two people could not fit in and we were not big! There was no room for luggage! We were forced to pay $700 to upgrade to a veranda room. We didn't use the veranda much. Read entire member review >>
The signature suite is a very spacious room - at least 5 feet between the end of the bed and the couch, plus two desks, a window and a balcony, a mini fridge, 2 phones, ample lighting, hair dryer and makeup mirror, lots of drawers. The TV was at least 48", with tons of movies and even a few channels of live TV! The bathroom was especially nice: 2 sinks, a whirlpool tub with shower, and a separate shower stall; no bumping into each other in the mornings, The suite layout was very well done; unlike Princess suites, getting things in/out of the ample closets does not block access to the other parts of the room. There's also a nice blackout curtain that separates the sleeping area from the closets and bathroom. 6115 was very quiet. Read entire member review >>
Beautiful cabin with large balcony that had a table and chairs. Divider on balcony was able to be unlocked and opened to have our cabin balcony join up with my sister's room next door (#8043) which was handy. Plenty of room for 2 adults with 2 kids when pull-out sofa utilized. Large bathroom with tub was a nice bonus for bathing the children. Read entire member review >>
Signature Suites are our favorite. This is a good one. No plumbing issues, no noise and convenient to elevators. It is on the port side so you do get the morning sun in Ft. Lauderdale which can be pretty hot. Read entire member review >>
We had our 14 yo sharing our cabin and it was plenty big enough. HAL kept forgetting she was there - had to ask for gown, slippers - never got 3 chocolates in room - never got 3 pieces of fruit then wanted her to pay gratuities. Read entire member review >>
This was our 1st time in a Signature Suite. Usually we book a verandah stateroom. We liked the extra space & amenities very much. Overall we were very happy with the condition of the room & particularly with the service from our stewards. Read entire member review >>
A lot more room compared to standard balcony cabins. One faucet in bathroom leaked. The stand alone shower was too small to be useful, but the Shower in the tup worked fine. Read entire member review >>
We stayed in 6175, which is a handicapped aft suite. It was a wonderful room, with more room than the three of us needed. I have never seen so much storage! It was nicely appointed with excellent craftsmanship (I'm a woodworker, so I notice such things). The bed was excellent. The window was quite big with a wonderful desk in front of it and sash big enough to sit in.
The balcony was very large with a table, 5 chairs and a chaise lounge. Previous reviews I'd read had warned that there is virtually no overhang over the balconies on deck 6 aft and that proved to be a handicap on the few times it rained during the cruise. I would have loved to have had the corner suite next door so I could have seen "around the corner" on the wrap-around balcony, but the very nice folk that stayed in it had booked before I. We were in Superior Veranda Suite 6115 and were very pleased. There was a large double door plus a large window which made the room very open and airy. It was a nice roomy suite with a sitting area and 2 desks. Flat-screen TV and comfortable bed. Our adult daughter slept on the couch that converted into a single bed and said it was not very comfortable. The bathroom was huge, plenty of room for even 3 people with a full size whirlpool tub and shower, 2 sinks and 2 medicine cabinets. While the decor may be a tad on the outdated side, this was very secondary to the size and comfort. The veranda was very good size with enough space for 5 chairs a full size pedestal table and 3 footstools. Only complaint would be that the veranda was in the process of being repainted and there was little progress on this during our stay and so it was not house kept at all for our use.
Overall, very pleased. Read entire member review >>
Nice save cabin overall although it did show some wear. The cabin had a good layout overall, although it didn't seem as large as the stated square footage. That said, five people easily fit in the room while entertaining. In addition, it was nice to have the glass door to the veranda and an additional window. Storage space was excellent and having a large bathroom with two sinks was very convenient when getting ready for dinner. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 6076, superior verandah, was a spacious cabin with a jacuzzi tub (with shower), a separate stall shower along with dual sinks. The closet and storage space were plentiful. Our bed was comfortable. We were four cabins from the mid-ship elevators making the location very convenient. The only thing I would have wished for was a chaise on the verandah! Great cabin. Extra large balcony and room. 12 drawers, 3 large closets, 5 outlets, king bed, 3 sitting chairs, vanity, desk, 3 night stands. Balcony had 2 tables, 4 chairs. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin with plenty of storage. The room was quite large and the bathroom was fabulous with dual sinks, a shower and a jacuzzi tub! The bed was a king and was sooo comfortable with wonderful pillows. Good location in the middle of the ship about 4-5 rooms from the mid-ship elevators. Also had a great view. Wish there was a way to get that cool ocean breeze into our room at night. i slept with the door propped open with a chair but coudnt get the breeze. Someone took my birthday balloons off my cabin door;( Read entire member review >>
Our cabin (#6087) was excellent...quiet location and just about middle of the ship (both horizontally and vertically) so that movement in very minimal...what's not to like about a junior suite...large bathroom with a double vanity and whirlpool tub was great but the large balcony with four chairs and a decent dining table make it a real pleasure!!! (5+ stars) Read entire member review >>
Very spacious, extra window, lots of storage, nice and quiet. Big drawback was the location at the very front of the ship - made the balcony extremely windy - like being out in a hurricane. Read entire member review >>
Great size room, lots of storage and closet space, jacuzzi tub a nice treat, balcony was essential for this trip and it was great to also have a window to gaze out of when in bed. Read entire member review >>
