Large flat screen TV, plenty of storage space in bathroom and closets that can be customized to fit long dresses or deep shelves. Beds were comfortable and the cabin is quiet and located mid-ship for less movement in rough seas (which we didn't experience) Outside views are good although you can't see down the side of the ship. Distance views every bit as good as other outside cabins but occasional maintenance work is done on the tenders so mind your drapes if you're changing clothes. Our stewards were amazing - great service even though they handled 30 cabins. Always try to tip your room stewards a little extra as they work very hard to keep you happy. Read Less

Cabin size ok, smaller than norm. Had sufficient cabin storage for the 24 days on board. Table to put on makeup had no drawers had to keep everything out at all times for makeup, hair products, lip, etc. They provided a portable mirror that had an enlarged side, lighting by this mirror was terrible. The second room issue is that it had partly obstructed view. The view outside window was the arms which pull the tender boats up and down. During the 24 days men would be outside our window working on the line and wires as early as 7:30 a.m. One time i had curtains open and just out of shower and the men were there, i felt abused in the fact they could look in. I went to purser office and they stated that the window had film on outside and they could not see in. I was not happy with this at all. We stayed in our cabin for the 24 days due to the fact ship full and only possible move was to an expensive cabin and we did not want to spend the high cost for the room. i would not recommend this room at all. The room had a tub/shower, sofa and sm table and chair as well as a queen bed or 2 twins. Great location for getting on and off ship. Read Less

Our cabin, which was a G category, ceiling to floor ocean view, was the smallest we have ever had, and there were no drawers, only shelves. We did not see our cabin stewards until the end of the second day.

Partially obscured = sliver of daylight. Our companions were in 4093 and had a bit more sky and sea visible. We chose the cabins as a compromise between price and some visibility to accommodate our companions. The cabin is roomy enough, with plenty of hanging space – and hangers! The bathroom has a reasonable-sized tub but since the first day’s passage was not smooth, avoid a tub if you have mobility issues as you’ll need a certain amount of dexterity to get in and out. The thermostat seemed to be for entertainment purposes only as the temperature in the cabin seemed never to change or changed independently of how you set it. Both cabins had robes, which were soft and comfy. Read Less

Can't remember the cabin number because it has been almost a year since we did this cruise. Even though it was obstructed view we loved having the light and partial views. It was a nice cabin and the steward did a good job. Not the friendliest but that's ok. He kept it clean and wasn't intrusive. First time we didn't really know the name of our cabin steward. I have cruised over a dozen cruises so I am used to knowing my steward. Read Less

The cabin was very light and had plenty of storage but the actual area of the sleeping part of the cabin was smaller than on previous Holland America sailings and very cramped. Cabin staff were excellent.

I had a room with an obtrusted view(4112) even though it was located between the two tenders. I could see everything. The room was very large with alot of closet space. I loved the bathroom with a full size medicine cabinet, a bathtub, and plenty of space. Only negtive thing about the room was at 600am at Sitka, woken with loud noise as they lowered the tenders. Also, should have been warned that crew members would be right outaide my window as I had my curtains open. I highly recommend this room though. Read Less
