"The main dining was good for the first 5 days of the cruise (then it went down in a hurry)
The buffet meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were a repeat of the same foods every time you went inside. You get quick lunch in the dining room (steak) when you first get on board, you get wifi for 1 device, 1 scheduled IFly, and 1 scheduled North Star, oh and let's not forget the small plate of fruit delivered to your cabin...."Read More

1-10 of 10 Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Seas Suite Cabin Cruise Reviews
We were booked on this ship previously but had to cancel due to Covid 19. When things got back to normal, we started looking to decide on which ship to sail on and when. We booked and cruised on two different ships and found the Odyssey superb. Once on board you get a feeling of joy and seeing the smiling faces of staff/crew really enhances the mood.
This is the most beautiful ship I ...
This was my third cruse with RC. The first two were on the Oasis and the Harmony, both of which were great trips. I fully expected that the Odyssey cruse would be at least as good, being the newest and supposedly best ship in the fleet.
I was completely wrong.
The good parts: the destinations in this case were Labadee (first stop, RC property as always) followed by Aruba and then ...
We boarded the ship in Civitavecchia after staying one night in Rome. I highly suggest arriving a day or more before a cruise. Much more relaxing and not stressful. We had to test (COVID) two days before the cruise via the webmd app. The embarkation process on Aug 30 was unbelievably fast. We had a 1pm arrival appt to board, but we were early, arriving at 11:20. We provided our negative test ...
My partner & I did this 12 night "Holy Land" cruise with our 3 adult children and our son's girlfriend. We had a really great vacation! We mostly liked this new ship, our first time on a quantum class, and our first post-shutdown cruise. We found the crew and service on-board to be excellent. This was a port-intensive cruise but we did have 3 seas days and a couple later morning arrivals, so we ...
NEVER purchase "the key"! We purchased it mainly to be able to disembark before anyone else but enjoyed reading that there's other perks. You get quick lunch in the dining room (steak) when you first get on board, you get wifi for 1 device, 1 scheduled IFly, and 1 scheduled North Star, oh and let's not forget the small plate of fruit delivered to your cabin.
We stood in line to disembark the ...
Royal Caribbean set the bar very high with Odessey of the Seas! All new and state of the art. Beautiful decor, perfect state rooms (highly recommend the rooms with larger PVT balconies) , delicious food, great guys and solarium. Ship was @ 30% capacity so it was simply the best experience ever. I felt safer on the cruise then on land because of the protocols in place! There is more Purell on ...
We boarded the Odyssey of the Seas on December 12, 2021 in Port Everglades at terminal 18, sailed for two weeks on back- to- back cruises and disembarked on December 26, 2021. The ship was beautiful, filled with modern technology, art work and new venues. The crew were excellent, professional and at the tops of their professions. The covid protocols were extensive and enforced. We were on board ...
Just finished an 8 day cruise on Odyssey. Great cruise and very relaxing but have to admit not my favorite ship. Though that is the case here are some observations:
VENUES/SHOWS
- Music venues on top of each other which resulted in music from each venue bleeding into each other (music halls; crown/compass and schooners)
- 270 venue was awesome. Very high tech
- Main shows were ok. ...
Chose this cruise because of the ship. the newest in the fleet of our favorite cruise line, Royal Carib. The ship was amazing in itself, but with the low capacity at this time (approx 28%) and the friendliness of the crew and staff, it made it more special.
We went to Coco Cay for the afternoon and it was empty so not too many water slides were open. That and the fact there were only 60 under ...
We thoroughly enjoyed 8 nights on the Odyssey. This was our second cruise during the pandemic. Two weeks prior, we cruised with a competitor cruise line. The Covid protocols on Royal Caribbean appeared far superior. In defense of the first cruise line, they have ramped up their protocols due to the prevalence of the Delta variant. Things may be very different today.
We took a rapid Covid test ...
