Nice Ship but new and unusual layout.
"The bar along the starboard side of the ship does have TV's but the smaller rooms only have three or four TV's, so it you sit down you can only see two big screen TV's.A unique theatre and dining option is the "Two 70" on deck 5 forward its a theatre with an adjacent cafe, that serves soups, sandwiches and salads and the food is quite good and the entertainment is high tech...."Read More

Caught Covid on Odyssey of the Seas New Year's 2022 Cruise 12/20/22 to 1/8/23 My husband and I got Covid for the first time ever after getting off of the Odyssey of the Seas 9 day New Year's Cruise on 1/08/23.Husband took sick later that day and I got sick two days later. Overall, we took many precautions. We wore a mask everywhere on the ship. We also bought the Ultimate Dining Package ( ...

Love RCL but will avoid this class of ship in the future.

We just came off the Holiday cruise sailing. Ports were Labadee, Puerto Plata, San Juan and Coco Cay. We are Diamond members with lots off RCL experience. This is our first time on this class of ship. Lots to do and some very different venues. Did iFly and Northstar and both were super cool. Ship is beautiful and in great shape but VERY over crowded. Passenger to space ratio is the worst ...

New but not best

Just got off the ship. Very good cruise! The Good: Service and people were great. We found several great bartenders on the ship, specifially Mansur and Will (Coconuts), Ketut (Music Hall) and Hashitat?(Windjammer). They remembered us and our drink of choice and made our cruise much better. Service across the board was very good! Windjammer is the best we've seen! The ...

Disappointing what has happened to RCL

Review for Odyssey of the Seas to Caribbean - Southern

This was our 40th cruise, 21st with Royal Caribbean and was disappointing in some areas. Clientele seems to be going downhill. Children running all over the ship (except in the Solarium). It didn't seem like anyone was using Adventure Ocean for the children. People were dressing like slobs on Formal Nights. Which begs the question, why have them? Some people didn't bother washing their hands, nor ...

Not good, not bad cruise

Review for Odyssey of the Seas to Transatlantic

We took this T/A RCL cruise because the price was unbeatable and because we got our Celebrity T/A cruise for the same period from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro cancelled. I am a Celebrity/Hal guy where I think the food are the best and they are the one keeping the real idea of cruising. RCL strives to isolate you from the sea, there is not even a place/table/bar/resto to sit and drink or eat outside ...

We booked this as a back to back with the Transatlantic 13 day to Ft. Lauderdale beginning Oct. 31st. The ship was immaculate and the balcony cabin was very pleasant. The layout really utilizes the amount of space and feels larger than the details would indicate. Separate closets were a nice touch and other storage was more than we needed for our two 50 lb. of clothing per bag. Several of ...

A most disappointing cruise

Review for Odyssey of the Seas to Transatlantic

The Holy Land cruise was prior to the following transatlantic, so we got a 'good feel' for the Odyssey. We've had 8 cruises on RCCL, 4 of which were transatlantic and 1 transpacific. We sailed Celebrity 10 times, 4 of which were transatlantic. Towards the end of the first cruise, we came down with a mild case of Covid, despite having our shots and 4th booster. We were quarantined in our cabin for ...

Overall a Fantastic Cruise

Pros: From check-in to leaving, everything went smoothly. Kudos to the captain for staying in Santorini and not leaving. The wind did die down and he even arranged to stay late so we got our tours in. Only ship in port which is a major plus - IFKYK. We did the ultimate dining package which was worth it. Loved Izumi and Teppanyaki The Bionic Bar was fun, except you can't use the ...

Poor entertainment, too pricey for tours

We have sailed with RCL OVER 20 times. Each ship has its wow factor but did not feel this on Odyssey. The same entertainment kept repeating. The Book (5 times, what was that all about?) 80s group Wild Boys (3 times) they were good but not everything likes 80s. There was a juggler who was brilliant and a magician who was mediocre. They had a show which was all about lasers? The main billed ...

For me having sailed with Royal Caribbean several times in the past we jumped at the chance to sail such a beautiful itinerary. This was my partner's first cruise and I wanted everything to be perfect. I've sailed on Anthem of the seas previously and had very high hopes for Odyssey - and we weren't disappointed! Odyssey is a gorgeous ship, modern, bright and colourful and had more than we ...
