We recently disembarked Oceania’s newest ship Vista here are our experiences.
Flights arranged by Oceania we do Not recommend please contact me for specifics.
Pre hotel arranged by Oceania in Miami the Elser hotel. We do not recommend we had to wait 6 hours on an open hot roof for our room to be ready. There is no restaurant in the hotel nor is there a coke or snack machine. We had to cross ...
First off, this was mine and my husbands first Oceania Cruise! We have always stayed in suites on Royal Caribbean Oasis Class Ships and preferred the larger ships. Some friends of ours recommended Oceania for the food and luxury side of the cruise. My husband loves to cook and they told us about their Culinary Classes. They did tell us that we would be younger than most people on the ship. I’m 43 ...
The best service and dining possible. Everyone helpful and cordial. Everything organized perfectly.
If you want a nice mature group of passengers that are well traveled, respectful of one another, are friendly and courteous, this is the place to be. If you want roller coasters, rock climbing and blearing rock music all day, maybe not.
All restaurants are wonderful. The open air seating ...
We chose this cruise to avoid winter snow up north. We have visited the Caribbean many times so the excursions and sightseeing were less important than getting away and relaxing. I gained six pounds from eating the food which was excellent. We ate almost all of our meals at the Terrace Grill which offered lobster tails, fish, lamb chops, shrimp, steaks at lunch and dinner. They had carving ...
This was our first experience on a smaller higher end ship and it was well worth it.
Unlike some of our earlier cruises on NCL, the other cruisers well interesting well behaved pleasant people. It was striking that the very well stocked library was often busy and in walking around the pool or lounges a large number of people, perhaps a majority, were reading.
The food was extremely good with ...
First off, I'd give it 4-1/2 stars, not quite five but still a strong positive rating.
Arrival at Terminal J was easy - we drove the two hours south, dropped off our luggage at the entrance (with spouse) and parked right across the street. A helpful porter handled the rest - and similar on the way back.
The ship is quite beautiful, we loved the understated but elegant decor and soft tones ...
My wife and I spent 10 days on Vista in January 2024. We are in our 70s and have done about 30 cruises on different cruise lines. This was our fourth with Oceania.
The ship: Magnificent and very passenger friendly. Great layout and the interior designer excelled creating elegance and charm with great choice of colors and materials. Our state room was beautiful with a lovely balcony and adequate ...
Great experience. Suite superb. Deck 10 mid ship our favorite location. Very quiet and stable. Spacious, spotless, beautifully appointed including marvellous towels, bed linens, bathroom amenities, and of course the ultra comfortable bed.
Rohit our Butler charming, efficient and professional. Couldn’t do enough for us. Anything we requested met with “of course, don’t worry, I will do it “. ...
We have been cruising for 30+ years on many lines. We have been on several Oceania cruises. Love Marina/Riviera size ships. Not a fan of smaller R ships. We were eager to see Vista. It is very similar in layout to Marina/Riviera. Embarkation was very quick. Had a problem with my key card immediately upon entering the ship. Was not happy to have to visit reception to get it activated. Next ...
After some time in Panama City and a slow trip back home, our bags are unpacked and I am now provide this very subjective, but hopefully balance, review. Overall, we had an excellent cruise with good to excellent food and service. By way of background, we have only sailed on Oceania and this was our 6th cruise with them.
