This was our 3rd cruise and second with Oceania. Our first cruise was to French Polynesia on Regatta and was cut short due to the Covid outbreak. Despite this setback, we were very impressed and pleased with everything, especially the food and based on this experience, booked our most recent cruise with Oceania again. This most recent cruise was again on Regatta. A 16 day voyage visiting ports in ...
3rd Oceania cruise. Chose Australia to have visited six of the seven continents. Was on inside and without request was allowed to board at 11:20 after checking out of hotel. They provide food until room ready just before 3. Food was excellent, but it appeared that presentation was less elaborate than prior cruises. Ports were well chosen for excursions but second half was very hot (around 40 ...
5th sailing with Oceania..love the staff, sizes of their ships and the itineraries. We have been on the Nautica and Marina as well. Both very nice ships with equally wonderful staff and service. More specialty restaurants on the Marina because it is a bigger ship. Always find the staff to be responsive to our needs...even to the point of searching for jello for room service when one of us had an ...
Having taken many cruises a long way from home it was nice to take one close meaning minimal travel. We liked the itinerary as it included a few places where we hadn't been. We missed four of the tender ports due to rough seas which would have been disappointing for those who haven't been there before and came so far but it was unavoidable. We didn't do any of the ship's shore excursions as we ...
This was our fifth cruise with this line and we were in the minority. Most passengers we met had enjoyed many, many more. Service is attentive. Our circumnavigation of Australia provided us with diversity in choice of ports. We appreciated the shuttle buses to the city centres. Unlike other cruise lines we have used, Oceania has a nice bistro where you can get speciality coffees and not have ...
Small ship had advantages and disadvantages: in rough seas the motion is much more of a problem and we had some very rough seas. Another advantage is that smaller ship can dock much closer to towns than larger ones: unfortunately, this was not the case and we were shunted to ports much further than I expected.
Cabins are incredibly small and they look large compared to the bathrooms. Again, the ...
This was our fourth Oceania cruise and we have become accustomed to the high standard of service and food.
One disadvantage of going ashore in a tender/life boat is that high waves will keep you onboard. That happened on one stop in Australia. Paid tours were refunded. Another disadvantage of stopping at small ports is the limited resources there to accommodate all passengers who want a ...
My husband and I spent 32 days aboard the Marina of Oceania Cruises February - March 2015. We had a room on Deck level 9, Concierge level A2. Our room was very nice with a spacious bath which included a marbled bath and a shower. The room was spacious enough for the two of us for the month long cruise. The food was excellent, although the Grand Dining was slow. The Marina is a fairly new ship, ...

o A personalized booklet was prepared for the travelers in each cabin and delivered about 1-month before the cruise. This is the most impressive document we have ever had which includes all the dates and ports-of-call, stateroom information, embarkation information, dinner reservations, a listing of available ship’s tours, descriptions of available services and ...
This was our first Oceania cruise which was recommended by our travel agent. We have previously cruised on Celebrity, Azamara, Carnival, Uniworld and Silversea. We choose this itinerary as it has long been on our bucket list to see Australia/New Zealand. Flight arrangements were made with Oceania with air deviation to arrive several days ahead of time in Sydney and to stay an extra night in ...
