We chose this cruise because of the itinerary - Barcelona to Miami in 17 days. This was our first time on Oceania and our second cruise ever. This is considered a smaller ship with only ~600 passengers - we liked the smaller size. This ship was re-done in 2019 so everything was lovely, clean, and fresh and decorated in calming colors. Background information: We are veteran cruisers with many years of cruising in different parts of the world on different cruise lines (includes Oceania, Disney, RCI, Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, Cunard). Absolutely incredible!!!! The room size was great as was the size of the bathroom. The Bulgari amenities are a lovely touch. You event have a choice of the scent that is placed in your room.
Sirena is a lovely ship and her crew ensured that we had a perfect experience!!! We are so happy with our sailing we have rebooked with Oceania on the Marina for 2019.

I love Oceania Cruises but, not sure I like European beef. We sailed from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, Florida. While the cruise was good...the beef on board was way below standard. Being a meat manager...I believe the beef was either European or US Select grade. We were on two back-to-back cruises on the Sirena for a total of six weeks. This is the first time we have been on a ship this small and learned that you have to give to get.

We chose this cruise because we had been on a very busy cruise on Oceania Riviera Barcelona to Barcelona for ten days then spent 4 days in Barcelona before embarking on the Sirena. We wanted some R&R and also wanted to avoid the jet lag by having gradual time changes.

I am a travel agent and frequent traveler. We have cruised Oceana many times but now it appears the ”bean-counters” are in control. There were noticeable differences in overall food and services from previous cruises.
This was a 27 day cruise and offered $1600 in shipboard credit for our basic balcony cabin. It’s easy to offer lots of OBC when everything is already overpriced to start with. ...

After mostly taking Carnival Cruises in the past, with the exception of another trans-atlantic we did on Celebrity, Oceania was a huge upgrade. The food was excellent and the ship was very clean and nice. I was especially impressed by the crew. They went out of their way at all times to help us and to pleasantly greet us.
