Excellent Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Sirena

This is my review of the Oceania cruise on the Sirena ship from Miami to the Canary Islands that lasted 2 weeks from 27 March to 10 April 2024. The food for all 3 meals plus afternoon tea, service, both cabin, reception and dining, and entertainment were excellent. In particular, the cruise director, Leslie Howard, was fantastic. The ship was in great shape; it was very well maintained. It ...

Best O Cruise Ever

This was our fifth Oceania cruise and our first transatlantic. We are in our late 70's and have some mobility challenges; so the port intensive itineraries can be exhausting. This was our experiment to see how we would like more sea days, and it did not disappoint. Sirena, one of the smaller O ships, is also a good size for us. We selected a penthouse suite right by the aft elevators; so we ...

Great itinerary,

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Sirena

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We did private party excursions at most of the stops. We very seldom will take the overpriced cruise line excursions. Most of the stops were places that we had not been. Yes, the rooms were small, but it's a small ship. We liked the size of the ship. This was our first time on the "R" class. We were in a concierge class veranda. We liked the location on ...

We definitely prefer smaller ships like Sirena; beautifully refurbished, great!

We picked this Oceania cruise because of its itinerary, in particular Al Hambra, Canary Islands and Tangiers (among others). We were lucky to score stateroom 6004 (port side very near the sharp end), which whilst having no balcony, had instead added interior space, making for a larger cabin. We appreciated the extra space as we were travelling for 2 months and had lots of luggage. Sirena has ...

April 2019 - My wife and I have been on numerous cruises (22+) throughout the world on various cruise lines over the years. This was our fifth cruise with Oceania; the previous cruises were the Northeastern Seaboard, Bermuda, Cuba, India, the Middle East and Europe and Southern Africa cruises. The 17-day Rio to Barcelona Cruise started on April 18, 2019. Our trip actually started on April ...

Somewhat disappointing but Canary Islands were a highlight

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Sirena

Chose this trip because of itinerary and good experience we had on prior Oceania cruises. With the funds spent to refurbish this ship, we expected more. We found no WOW factor anywhere. Having recently traveled on the Marina, we found the food here to be disappointing. We found several of our shore excursion guides less than satisfactory -- some did not keep group together, some lacked ...

Chose first for destinations, secondly because it was Oceania....previously on the Marina, and loved the ship. Cruise Director on Sirena was far superior to the one on Marina though. Meals and service in Red Ginger and Toscana were very good. Too often we had to search for a seat in the Terrace. For most part service was excellent; the odd person appeared to hate their job and it ...

GREAT voyage on Sirena- Kasbah to Canaries!

My wife and I were very happy with our cruise! The food and staff were excellent; the entertainment was better than I had expected and the ports of call were outstanding with very enjoyable tours and excursions. Actual Embarkation took only a few minutes and we were in the room after a nice lunch and a short wait. Very pleased. The ship is in overall very good shape after the refurbishment. ...
