1-10 of 11 Baltic Sea Sirena Baltic Sea Cruise Reviews
Chose this cruise as we like Oceania, embarkation close to home, and because of the port calls around the North Sea and part of Southern Baltic.
The first port in Faroes was cancelled to everyone’s disappointment, replaced by Invergordon. Which I really enjoyed, to my surprise. Otherwise everything went to plan and we thoroughly enjoyed the mix of other ports, particularly Stavanger and Oslo. ...
Be ware-- while Oceania's cruise prices are mostly back to "normal" our cruise was not. As you will read in reviews by others, there are many differences with prior cruises on Oceania. This was our 7th cruise on Oceania. The staff tries hard but is either poorly or insuffiently trained. Too many staff are inexperienced. They smile and are pleasant but miss the mark. Consequently, you may food ...
You can always find things on a cruise that can be made better. This cruise was no exception. But, in general, the cruise was good and enjoyable. For people looking for more to do and a slightly younger crowd--look for something else. Oceania, is known for the food on board and in general I would say the food is nicely prepared, presented and good. In the main dining room there is something new ...
We sailed from Dublin to Dublin beginning on 7/3/22. We chose this cruise because of the great itinerary. The ship went all the way around Ireland.
The ports were all great. The staff was amazing. The food superb.
However, there was very limited internet access. Access is advertised as free and available all over the ship. There wasn’t enough bandwidth available for the number of ...
I cannot reiterate how bad this cruise was. There was no communication between crew members and guests. Sat on a tour bus for 30 minutes, at no point was it communicated that we were missing 2 passengers. Rushed through breakfast to get to lounge for out tour. Once again, no statement that everything was running 30-40 minutes late. Told to bring passports to shore, completely false. Could ...
Sirena is not the quality of other Oceania ships. Still good but not as good. The quality of the ship is not the same. A lot of broken things, the lights in Red Ginger would not dim correctly - bright or very dim, ice cream machine in buffet was broken, two washer/dryer machines were not working, etc. Still very good compared to other cruise lines but not up to the Oceania standard. Several ...
Selected for its ports of call and the fact it was selling itself as a luxury cruise line. Well the ports didn't let us down but not over impressed by the ship. What can we say but it's boring! Thankfully we had a port stop every day so could escape! Entertainment at 9.30pm was hit and miss, that's if you made there in time to watch it, as the service in the MDR was so slow. Tables for two went ...
This cruise was recommended to us by our travel agent. It was touted as a luxurious venue with superior services. We were disappointed with the ship overall. We met wonderful people onboard. The pool deck area is lovely as is the spa and fitness area The outdoor dining deck is also charming. The food in the specialty restaurants was good. The entertainment was quite weak. It was ...
Our cruise on Sirena was chosen primarily for the itinerary, which followed the Atlantic coasts of Spain and France. We also wanted to revisit Oceania’s smaller ‘R-class’ ships after several cruises on the larger ‘O-class’ ships. We were hopeful that Sirena would dock nearer the port cities, since recent cruises on the larger ships required long bus rides from the dock to reach the cities. We ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary however; the two ports I was looking forward to were skipped. The entertainment was awful for the most part. This tour was originally listed as a 21 day cruise but ultimately was changed into two separate cruises a 10and 11 day cruise. The ship was in poor condition for an "alleged" reconditioned ship from the Princess cruise line. So many things ...
