Lacking Adequate Internet Service

Review for Marina to Mediterranean

This cruise sailed from Trieste, although originally advertised to depart from Venice. Whilst the change of embarkation ports was understandable, the service provided by Oceania for embarkation was sadly lacking. Upon arrival at Venice airport early in the morning, there was no ship's representative to be seen in the arrival hall to assist with luggage and direct us to the bus which would take ...

This was a cruise that we had booked for 2020 and then 2021. We finally got to do it in 2022. Prior to our cruise we did a 10 day tour of Tuscany all on our own. That's another story. We ended up in Venice where the cruise was supposed to start. We found out a couple of months before that the cruise would start in Trieste instead. Oceania said that they would provide a bus to take everyone to ...

We were on the May 14-21, 2022 cruise from Trieste (originally supposed to be Venice) to (Civitevechia sp?) Rome. We have cruised with Oceania (Riviera & Marina) 3 other times. Each trip has been wonderful, so much so that we don't want to take a chance on booking with another line, although I'm sure most are also good. The only disappointment was that we were supposed to receive a ...

This was our 3rd Cruise on Oceania in as many years. We were very excited to be cruising again. The cruise was very disappointing from beginning to end. Oceania has really slipped in their quality IMHO. I’ll just hit the low points of the trip but bottom-line Oceania does not care any longer about their quality. I spoke to numerous people and got zero response from them. We flew from DFW to LAX ...

we booked this cruise last minute after a long hard winter. a splurge (because oceania is more expensive than many of the other cruise lines) after dearth of travel due to covid. we encountered two types of people on the ship. those who say they sail on oceania exclusively because of its small size, no kids, and superior dining and service. and those who don't get it. after our ten days, ...

I choose this cruise because it itinerary was Barcelona to Venice and Oceania reputation. Oceania knew the ship would not port in Venice as advertised but waited to inform passengers just a few weeks before sailing. The April itinerary had already been changed. Venice excursion information was delayed until after the deadline to cancel. My Oceania rep assured me there would be several ...

We sailed on the Regatta, round trip Los Angeles, on April 24. It was our first cruise on Oceania and we were looking forward to trying a new cruise line. Here is my long review. Our overall impression is that the Regatta has great cuisine, as promised, but it is let down by other areas. The osso buco and carbonara in Toscana and beef bourguignon were some of the best meals on a cruise ship, ...

Review for Marina to Caribbean - Southern

This is the first negative review I have ever posted on this site. Our cruise on the Oceania Marina from Miami first week in March 2022 was as rough sea for 3 days on our way to Curacao and coming back to Miami. I discussed this with some employees on the ship. They were told that because there were only less than 400 passengers(normal 1,200 passengers), they did not use the Stabilizers because ...

This was an unusual cruise in that it was originally slated to be on a much smaller ship, the Sirena and was moved to the Marina along with an itinerary change. Marina can accommodate 1200 passengers. This sailing there were 406 passengers with a crew of approx. 730 so the staff to passenger ratio was very high and passengers enjoyed the roominess aboard. This is our fourth time sailing on ...

After two years of landlocked, it was wonderful to be back on the water We did have a few glitches with paperwork at the Santiago airport, COVID related. A few mandatory ANTIGEN Tests throughout the sail, masks and common sense kept everyone healthy As always, the staff were on their game with holiday decorations and smiles everywhere. At about 25% capacity, we had several fabulous ...
