We were on the Regatta from Australia to New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa x 2 and French Polynesia. My feedback is as follows:
1. Staff - very friendly and generally eager to please. However, tend to be a number who lack training, so service is variable.
2. Cabins - please don't pretend they are state rooms, it insults the passengers! Generally basic, but good enough, but shower area is tiny. Bigger ...
We were planning a long cruise of 9 weeks from Auckland to LA of about 9 weeks. When they sold it to us we thought that this was one cruise but we found out that this cruise was split up in 3 parts. With twice the same ports as you did at the end of the cruise that just ended. That was not told at all when they sold this to us! So at the end of the first cruise part you end again in Auckland where ...
We chose this cruise because it was going to Antarctica at the time that suited us. We have sailed Regent before and had good reviews of Oceania. How wrong we were. This cruise was awful from boarding queues to the end. Oceania at minimum misrepresented this cruise and at worst, outright lied about the ship's amenities. Let's start...

Disorganization was so awful in Lima that ...
Going on a Panama Canal cruise from Miami to Lima Peru was on our bucket list. The itinerary was terrific. The boat is old and needs renovation to to bottom. Unfortunately, we are on this tub again in June from Lisbon to Oslo for 23 days. The scheduled renovations will only touch the Penthouses and common areas, not the balcony staterooms. We were lied to about this from several sources onboard. ...
This was our first time on an Oceania ship. Friends had said they were very good and considered a "higher level" cruise line. Was really looking forward to the trip. We did a 14 day portion of the 77 day trip from LA to Sydney.
The hotels chosen by Oceania for before and after cruise stay in Tokyo and HK were wonderful. However there was a confusion re bus number on embarkation day to take us ...
I would love to be gushing about how awesome our first (and last) Oceania Cruise was on the Marina. I will begin with the positive. The ship is beautifully appointed for an older ship and immaculately clean. The cabin staff is awesome as is the wait staff. They oversee all buffet food service - keeping guests from handling food. The bed was extremely comfortable and so were the pool loungers. ...
My husband and I wanted a romantic getaway and Oceana was advertised about being luxury and amazing food. After several other cruises we thought we would give it a go thinking it could be right for us...
1. Food was not amazing. We had about 50% success rate with the meals. A few were very good. They are catering to an older crowd and not a foodie crowd.
2. Older crowd is the focus 75+ ...
We sailed on the Marina in September doing back to back cruises Portsmouth to Portsmouth. Portsmouth to Barcelona!
First cruise was acceptable but the Marina is a worn out ship. We have sailed on her before and her condition was excellent but now she needs a full refurb. Drawers broken, wardrobe unable to slide open, water stains in the bathroom. Food was okay, certainly not the best food at ...
We are experienced cruisers and book cruises for the ports of call, not the food and not for the entertainment. We booked the Marina -Oceanian for this recent September 2023 cruise as it's ports of call included Saint Malo, France, Portugal and most importantly, Morrocco. The Cruise by pasted all three of them do to "weather".
When we finally made our 1st port, Bordeaux we docked overlooking a ...
We choice this cruise for 2 reasons. Number one was the itinerary and number two was the fact that we have previouslsly sailed with Oceania on the Marina, and were quite satisfied.
The overall cruise was fair at best. The ship was clean although there were some areas of deterioration. The greatest asset was the staff with the exception of the senior officers.
The most significant ...
