Oceania is our favorite cruise line, so when I was able to book a cruise on their newest ship, the Vista, I jumped on it. I also liked the fall color itinerary that started in Montreal, a city that I hadn’t visited in the past. I had taken a fall color cruise in 2013 after I retired and loved it, so I hoped that we would be able to see beautiful colors that we don’t see in south Florida.

Oceania Vista, Montreal to Miami October 2023. Disclaimers first. My wife and I prefer smaller ships of approximately 1200 passengers or less and Oceania Vista certainly fits that bill. Secondly, we usually pick the cruise because of the ports. Third, we do not like all-inclusive plans as we rarely use the ship’s excursions and are not big drinkers. So that does leave a limited number of ...
Wanted to experience the new Vista and was not disappointed. The new venues were great and looking forward to its new sister ship Allura.
Dining - The Grand Dining Room is truly grand. White columns and half walls break up the cavernous space and allow for a quieter more intimate experience no matter where you are seated. Menu selections were good but did notice rather dull options when it ...
Oceania is my favorite cruise line, always has excellent food and service. From the stewards to the servers in the dining areas, always outstanding service. Dijon and Suprano took good care of us, always available to our needs. Sedeep in the grill in the Terrace Cafe always greeted you with a big smile and asked you what your needs were and often brought our hot dishes to our table if time ...
My husband and I chose this 25 day cruise because we wanted to try a high-end cruise. Loved it. Oceania is the perfect line for us because there are no rules, no photographers, no up-selling of terrible art, no gala events. Dining: you can sit where you want and eat when you want. The staff were fun-loving, over-the-top competent, sophisticated and professional. Our cabin was elegant. ...
This review is a bit late, but better late than never. This was my first cruise with Oceania Cruises and I was very impressed with the experience. I have cruised in the past and this has been my fifth cruise but they have not been as good as Insignia. I have to say that I was delighted with the experience. My daughter and I cruised together this time and it was her first cruise and she really ...
We were on Deck 3 with an ocean view on the starboard side of the ship. On Deck 3 all the cabins are ocean view on the starboard size. There are no cabins on Deck 3 port side. There is only one stairway and two elevators serving the starboard side. There are emergency exit forward and aft on Deck 3. The Internet connection and speed were okay for a ship. There are two 110 volts and two 220 ...
It was our 9th sailing, which we have mostly done on the the larger ships--Marina and Riviera. Its been 3 years since we sailed on a small O ship. We were delightfully surprised at how lovely the smaller ship was. Immaculate even though we were told it was going into dry dock next year. Everything was up to O standards and I didn't miss the fact that there were only 2 vs 4 restaurants. All ...
Enjoyed everything about this cruise. Very nice small ship, friendly crew, great entertainment, awesome food and fantastic itinerary.
Cabins: because of first week or so being in cooler weather, booked a OV cabin. Small, but roomy with lots of storage space. Bonus was using the window shelf for extra storage. Very comfy bed. Bathroom big enough for one person and shower was tight for my ...
We are holidaying in US and Canada for almost 8 weeks and this itinerary from Montreal to Miami in luxury on Oceania Regatta fitted perfectly.
A great cruise with outstanding service and excellent food and reasonable entertainment, together with a very interesting group of guests made for a successful and enjoyable cruise. We dined in each of specialty restaurants and enjoyed both. Felt food ...
