Incredible New Year Celebration with the festive food and drinks

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Riviera

Joined the cruise just before the New Year and was impressed by the decoration and food variety. On NY’s eve, we were invited to the poolside party to join the music and dance before count down. The ice sculpture and costumes were free to enjoy and wear. Passengers were all dressed up in the event to cheer for the New year’s arrival. After a late night, we were welcomed by an incredible Buffet ...

Very good...but

Cruise's plan was changed but stops were chosen in uninteresting places. It could be improved with better quality shore excursions . The tours were superficial and looked as if no thought had been put into them. I don't understand the answer to my questions...this is what we can get. So tell that to your passengers and charge much less than you charge d. The crew on board was excellent, ...

Great Itinerary/Uneven Ship Service

Review for a Asia Cruise on Nautica

The cruise had a fabulous itinerary and we chose it for that. We were not disappointed. The cruise was amazing and the ports were phenomenal. Everything was interesting and easily explored. Sometimes we had to travel a distance from port to the points of interest but that is often to be expected with a cruise. We could not have been more pleased with the choice of ports. We arranged for ...

Details on some deficiencies in an otherwise excellent cruise

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Nautica

The cruise was generally excellent mainly because of the the variety of food, the service, the gym and running track, and the itinerary. I will not go into detail on those factors because you can read about them in numerous other reviews. Instead, I will discuss a few deficiencies aboard Nautica and suggest some ways to overcome them so that they will not interfere with your enjoyment of the ...

Second cruise with Oceania. First on Nautice. Chose the cruise because of itinerary which was great. We knew the smaller ship as we had been on Azamara. Oceania was better experience. Both embarkation and disembarking were trouble free. Negatives was there were little alternate activities during sea days but it gave you time to recover! , and late 9.30 show...but cruise for me is not for ...

Oceania always provide good services, food and entertainment. The only disappointments were the cancellation of Istanbul and Cairo within the lists of Port of Call. Those cities were the reasons for the initial booking of this cruise. Some travelers mentioned receiving shipboard credit after complaining to Oceania (which would need confirmation). If that was true and correct, Oceania should ...

Middle East; Nothing to Fear

Other than being disappointed by Oceania once again taking two ports off the cruise as we were cruising the trip was amazing! We were supposed to stop in Cyprus and one additional stop in Egypt. VERY disappointed that we didn't. The cruise line told us it was due to weather but we know that over 30 guests missed flights and so the ship stayed another night in Istanbul to save themselves money. I'm ...

Smaller ship with a feeling of space

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Riviera

Embarkation and disembarkation procedures are rigidly adhered to at the start and end of the trip and are handled well. Though we arrived earlier than suggested, the ship's crew accommodated all arrivals well. The best thing is that the ship's decor is most impressive. The restaurant facilities and food do not disappoint, though Oceania's food offering is not overly more or less than what is ...

Classy and good value, but a bit inflexible

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Riviera

This was our first Oceania trip, after having sailed with Carnival, NCL and Azamara before. We chose this cruise mostly due to the itinerary, and after checking Oceania's reputation we expected Oceania to be similar to Azamara, which we had liked a lot. Oceania delivered in most cases, failed in others. Check-in and embarkation: We showed up relatively late for check-in (4 pm), later than ...

Nautica - Our First Oceania Cruise - Hong Kong - Dubai

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Nautica

I would like to break the cruise down in to various categories as it is important that I recognise the good and bad with Nautica/Oceania Cruise. It is also based on our experiences on other cruise lines and is my personal perspective from a non-American perspective.Embarkation : Being Concierge certainly helped with an early and speedy check in in Hong Kong. Well organised. Disembarkation : In ...
