Wow! The Coronavirus caused us to have quite the unexpected journey. Fortunately no one on the ship was infected with the virus. We were sailing to Pisco, Peru on day 18 of our planned 20 day cruise when the captain announced Peru had closed all its ports to cruise ships. The biggest take-away from this cruise is to say that if you do take medications, take an extra seven days worth with you. We were lucky and did, which we have done on previous cruises. You never know what may happen. After you read the rest of this you'll understand.

This was our 4th time on either Marina or her sister ship. The cruise was 18 days from Miami to Lima with going through the Panama Canal. It made port in several interesting countries along the way.

This is our 2nd time aboard the Marina. In 2015 we traveled the Baltics for 10 days. Because of that experience, Oceania was chosen again. What an amazing trip! Overall, service was exceptional.
