We wanted to try Oceania instead of our usual Princess or HAL. My review is very mixed because some things were better and others were not. For example, embarkation was great, we walked right on and there were some little kiosks with nice items for sale before you boarded, including wine which you could take onboard. Disembarkation was horrible. They told us to be on one floor, then changed ...

We chose this itinerary and line because of our prior experience and because of the Panama Canal crossing and an opportunity to see the Mayan Ruins in Mexico. The ship itself is beautiful and very well maintained, but as a overall "luxury cruise" experience lacked service and reasonable ports. Most of the ports were very much off the beaten path and had very little to offer, for the most ...

My wife and I wanted to experience cruising on Oceania as we had heard much about their ships and the dining reputation. This was our first Oceania cruise but our 10th overall on various other cruise lines. We chose this route from Buenos Aires to Valparaiso, called Southern Holidays, because of the convenient holiday voyage (Dec. 19th to Jan. 5th). I must say the Marina is a beautiful ship ...

We chose to sail on the Marina because we always enjoy cruising during the Christmas Holidays. This was our first time with Oceania and we were very impressed with the service in our Concierge Veranda Stateroom and in the dining venues. The ship is immaculate and in top-notch shape. However, after all of the "hype" about Oceania's cuisine, we were quite disappointed with the food overall. ...

I purposely waited 5 days to write this review because I felt I could write a better review after I rested up from the long trip back. Unfortunately, that has not happened, so here goes! First, the ship is beautiful, the crew was great (I am talking out the stewards, butlers, and staff that had direct contact with the passengers). We made wonderful friends which was the highlight of our ...

We boarded in Buenos Aires and with a PH1 we soon had our cabin. It was large, with an excellent bathroom and spacious but because of the itinerary an almost useless balcony, The bed was quite comfortable and the walk-in closet was great. Service from the butler was wonderful, as he constantly reminded us of all the services he could provide; and we enjoyed eating breakfast that were "off the ...
