"When we first pointed out that our requested vegan meal was not on the menu (we and our wonderful TA had notified the ship several times, we informed dining services for the specialty restaurant, informed our butler...A few snafus - the specialty restaurant Toscana served us the worst vegan pasta dish we have ever had, anywhere: not just vegan but gluten free and tasteless (to satisfy the "vegan dish" requirement that we asked for)...."Read More
We are mainly expedition cruisers but we enjoyed this fairly port intensive ocean cruise. Marina is a happy ship; the staff are friendly, helpful and competent. Whilst not the 'finest cuisine at sea' we enjoyed the food especially Jacques which is a truly fine dining experience. Red Ginger was also excellent and although the main dining room menu is limited it did not disappoint. The 'buffet' was ...
Thanks for sharing your feedback! We are glad that you had a great experience on Marina and that you enjoyed the itinerary. We greatly appreciate you taking the time and effort to provide us...
This is our second cruise. We chose Oceania because we are vegan, and also like the benefits of a smaller and more upscale cruise line. Overall, we had an excellent time on the Legends of Norway cruise and highly recommend it. The ship "Marina" was lovely - absolutely no complaints there - and the itinerary was wonderful. Our penthouse suite was beautiful - spacious, pretty, with a huge walk in ...
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience and that our staff didn’t meet the level of service we strive for when it came to the quality of food at our specialty...
Let me first say, nobody promoted Oceania cruise line more than I. If cruising came up in the conversation, Oceania was at the top of my list.
I'm not new to cruising. This cruise was my 45th cruise and my third cruise on Oceania this year, for a total of 51 days. I've been on eight different cruise lines altogether.
We flew into Copenhagen for a 25-day penthouse suite cruise. My partners ...
We chose this cruise because my parents wanted to see Greece and this cruise went there. They also dreamed of going on an Oceania cruise because the food is supposed to be great as well as service and staterooms.
The cruise began on a sour note as the cruise could not leave from Monte Carlo as it was slated. The reason was given as weather, however, we spent 3 days in Nice before departure and ...
This is our 6th cruise with Oceania and 2nd time on the Marina and loved every moment. Embarkation in Southampton was efficient and we were quickly onboard. Our Concierge room was immaculate and as in past cruises the cabin staff were excellent and always greeted us by name. There has been discussion on some boards about the decline in Oceania food however, our personal experience was that we ...
Loved itinerary especially grateful for several sea days, which is a bit unusual for port-intensive Oceania. Wanted to escape the heat of the Mid-Atlantic and try a longer cruise.
The service was stellar and loved having four specialty restaurants available -- all were excellent and Red Ginger was our favorite. And those views from Polo and Toscana were amazing, especially when traveling ...
The Ship: Well maintained and operated. The crew was very helpful and pleasant. After dealing with a nasty private porter in New York (we ignored him, not sure why Oceania allows this) once we got to deal with the Oceania we had nothing but positive experiences for the rest of our trip. Embarkation was easy.
Crossing the Atlantic in the spring can be a little rough. I give great credit to ...
We choose this cruise for the ports. Unfortunately due to the seas we missed St. John’s and Dublin.
Weather cannot be helped and everyone’s safety is most important. That is the risk whenever you cruise, you may not get to all the ports.
I had cruised Oceania before years ago. The difference today, entertainment was horrible, especially doing a transatlantic you are waiting for it. You can ...
I have cruised on Oceania numerous times and never had an experience quite like this cruise. The captain has a reputation on the ship of only going to ports he wants to go to and not what is on the schedule and what is best for the guests, under the auspice of weather or other conditions as an excuse. We ended up with 10 days at sea because of this. Over all the cruise was good (not great) and ...
Had been with Oceania in 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed it. That cruise was a comfortable, fairly sophisticated experience, and was always was keen to repeat the experience.
The company brochure is now really misleading. It shows elegant well dressed people, where in actual fact on this trip the majority of people were dressed in baseball caps, T shirts and dad trainers. We are in out late 60's ...
