For those in Penthouses and above you have complimentary access to the Spa Terrace. The loungers have been upgraded during the Oceania Next program
We always love to do a cooking class aboard Riviera or Marina. This one Viva Espana was excellent.
A wine tasting offered in Jacques was worth the time and additional charge.
A wine tasting at La Reserve, free nibbles, wine for purchase. If you have a beverage package (we did not), some of the wines by the glass are included.

Amazing Special Diet Restaurant Service

Review for Marina to Caribbean - All

I would like to highlight the positives first for this trip on Marina, from Lima to NYC. I am gluten-free. I told Roger, the Specialty Diet Coordinator that I pick cruises based on food and desserts. He introduced me to Pastry Chef Bruno, who then made sure I got a different dessert every day, to my liking. Everyone one of them was an art of work. Felt very pampered. The Terrace Cafe chef ...

We enjoyed this cruise very much. We have been on Oceania before, and chose this cruise for the itinerary of Lima to NYC. It was the middle leg of getting the ship from Tahiti, where it had spent the winter, to Europe, where it will spend the summer. We love O for the food, and the food was quite good. The new Dom Perignon events were great (separate charge, but great value for the money). ...

My spouse and I are experienced cruisers. On this voyage we sailed from Lima,Peru to NYC via the Panama Canal. The trip was adversely impacted by an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness(probably Norovirus) which can't be blamed on Oceana. However, their response was a disaster. Numerous activities were curtailed or canceled, and venues closed, even those unrelated to food or bathroom services, ...

How not to cope with Novo Virus; poor only because of the handling of situation.

Left Lima 18 days quickly became apparent novo virus on board. Food went down hill service, laundry was close all lounges closed, all facilities closed, no coffee machines open. 18 days later now nothing in cabins and plastic cups for water. Novo Virus happens so learn to deal with it, we have all paid for luxury and ended up at Macdonalds! Staff very helpful but when so much of the ...

We tried Oceania. We have cruised Silverseas and seaborne. The ship focuses on food. Our recent cruise was loaded with elderly very large folks. These folks cannot board buses or walk very well. They hobble down the halls clogging up the isles. Also because of the limited physical abilities of the passengers the off ship excursions are geared to large inanimate viewing. This ship is in need ...

High (very high!) Seas

Although we've cruised a dozen times or more, mostly on Celebrity, we booked a December 17 Oceania sailing over Christmas, mostly for the long (12 night) itinerary. Although the Marina holds 1250 passengers, we kept hearing that our sailing carried only 810 passengers, so we certainly received the benefit of excellent passenger:staff ratio!! The food was terrific, and since the ship was not ...

We took a 12 day Miami-Miami on December 17, 2017 with stops in Guatemala, Mexico, Honduras, Colon (Panama Canal) Costa Rica, Belize, and Key West. First time on Oceania. Ship: Ideal size, 1250 capacity (we had just over 800 on board), Very tasteful decor throughout; loaded with original art. Very classy. We had rough seas several days, but we did fine. We do 1/2 of a patch behind the ear. ...

Very organized, no waiting, cabin was ready (Penthouse 2) 11072 Arun, our butler was THE best. Met wonderful cruise passengers. Quiet, no kids running around. Cuba was amazing. Loved every minute of it.......... Complaint My husband fell off a defective chair in our stateroom; the leg came out of the underside of the chair and sent him flying. He sprained his arm/hand ...

We chose the cruise because of the addition of Cuba to the itinerary. The cruise, ship, crew, and service were exceptional. Our focus was on the itinerary, so we were out most of the time. Chose late dining to maximize tour opportunities. Specialty restaurants were exceptional. Happy hour offerings were inviting. Perhaps add more to accommodate both early and late diners. Drink package is ...

Disappointing

This cruise was chosen because of Cuba. Havana was quite interesting. I was told that the food was supposed to be exceptional. Not true. The hightlight of the cruise, besides Havana, was dining at La Reserve and also the cooking classes and the chef/teacher. The entertainment was below average with exception of Danny Abrams. The best speialty restaurant is the Red Dragon. The food at The Grille ...
