We booked a penthouse suite and splurged because it came with a butler and the ability to have meals in our room, plus a balcony. Our butler, Samrat, was excellent and if you can afford the cost of a PH room I’d recommend it. Only do not book room 8045. We sailed on Sirena May 29, 2019 out of Venice. Although Sirena did an overnight in Venice, our flight didn't arrive until late afternoon. I used Oceania for my air. They booked us through Copenhagen from Boston with a five hour wait for our flight to Venice. The next day the ship departed at 3:00pm. Useless port unless you arrive at least a day early. The cruise had a fabulous itinerary and we chose it for that. We were not disappointed. The cruise was amazing and the ports were phenomenal. Everything was interesting and easily explored. Oceania is a fantastic cruise line, up there with the best. The crew were second to none and the food is of course exemplary. We recently returned from an eleven day cruise from Rome to Venice on the Oceania's Sirena. We picked this cruise because of the itinerary. The Oceania did an excellent job of getting to every port as scheduled so we had ample time at each port to explore.
