Horrible noise above Penthouse suite

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Sirena

We booked a penthouse suite and splurged because it came with a butler and the ability to have meals in our room, plus a balcony. Our butler, Samrat, was excellent and if you can afford the cost of a PH room I’d recommend it. Only do not book room 8045. We asked to be changed the minute we got into the room because as Samrat was talking, I couldn’t pay attention due to the scraping noises above ...

Poor port selection

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Sirena

Sacred Holy Tour, spent two glorious days in Jerusalem and Bethlehem to return to our ship located in a commercial industrial port for three days and two nights...it was inconvenient, noisey, dirty, and ugly view. Just so Oceania could save a few bucks. This is a luxury cruise ship treating us like cattle. We had trash bin outside our balcony, working port with trucks running all night. ...

Very Disappointed

We sailed on Sirena May 29, 2019 out of Venice. Although Sirena did an overnight in Venice, our flight didn't arrive until late afternoon. I used Oceania for my air. They booked us through Copenhagen from Boston with a five hour wait for our flight to Venice. The next day the ship departed at 3:00pm. Useless port unless you arrive at least a day early. The ship just finished a total ...

Great Itinerary/Uneven Ship Service

Review for a Asia Cruise on Nautica

The cruise had a fabulous itinerary and we chose it for that. We were not disappointed. The cruise was amazing and the ports were phenomenal. Everything was interesting and easily explored. Sometimes we had to travel a distance from port to the points of interest but that is often to be expected with a cruise. We could not have been more pleased with the choice of ports. We arranged for ...

An amazing journey, an amazing ship, an amazing staff

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Nautica

We chose this cruise primarily because of the itinerary and it did not disappoint. We made all our own tour arrangements at each port so I can not comment on the ships tours. Our room was fantastic and the service bar none. We found all the amenities great. We especially liked the Terrace Cafe just because of its variety of selection and casual atmosphere. We did enjoy Toscanas food as well, ...

Details on some deficiencies in an otherwise excellent cruise

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Nautica

The cruise was generally excellent mainly because of the the variety of food, the service, the gym and running track, and the itinerary. I will not go into detail on those factors because you can read about them in numerous other reviews. Instead, I will discuss a few deficiencies aboard Nautica and suggest some ways to overcome them so that they will not interfere with your enjoyment of the ...

Smallest Bathroom at Sea!

Oceania is a fantastic cruise line, up there with the best. The crew were second to none and the food is of course exemplary. We never had a problem finding sun loungers (despite many shaded sunloungers being reserved every day) and there were many day beds available at all times too. The show lounge is called the Sirena lounge and it is more akin to a bar/lounge rather than the more typical ...

Background information: We are veteran cruisers with many years of cruising in different parts of the world on different cruise lines (includes Oceania, Disney, RCI, Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, Cunard). This was our 30th cruise, our longest cruise to date, our eighth on Oceania and our first on Sirena. I have done several other cruise reviews on Cruise Critic. This cruise was ...

We recently returned from an eleven day cruise from Rome to Venice on the Oceania's Sirena. We picked this cruise because of the itinerary. The Oceania did an excellent job of getting to every port as scheduled so we had ample time at each port to explore. My only complaint is that we tendered twice, and the tender boats were very uncomfortable with no fans and very hot. We have been on ...

I always wanted to travel to Greece, especially Crete. The cruise line excursions were not very good - they did not accurately describe the level of activity. It was extremely rigorous. The shopping excursion in Limassol was a complete waste - they dropped us at the harbor and told us to walk. After a few blocks in what seemed like a slum with no stores in sight, several of us took a shuttle ...
