Oceania worst cruise ever!
Oceania should stop sending expensive brochures and spend the money on better quality food and staffing !
it was terribly under staffed!
Not enough servers in dining areas or lounges.
Food , including desserts, were awful!
We never saw or heard from the Captain.
He never addressed the passengers , through turbulent waters.
Our ship was rocking and ...
We chose this 1--day cruise to see the leaves changing along the north Atlantic coast from New York to Canada. This is our fourth cruise with Oceania, but it has been a decade since our first three.
ITINERARY: While the sites were beautiful, 4 of the 9 ports of call left us wondering why the ship stopped in those ports as there was little to nothing to see that one could not see from the ...
This was our 8th cruise with Oceania and our first after the pandemic. Some have mentioned that the ship decor is dated, which I agree with, however, I heard they are renovating the ship in a few months. The restaurants were great as usual - my favorite was Jacques. The spa was wonderful and the cooking class was a lot of fun.
While there are still many things to love about Oceania - the ...
This was our second Oceania. But we have done a few other cruises over the years. The newly refurbished Nautica was very beautiful. Couldn't get a suite so we were on 7th floor with Balcony. Small room- Impossibly small shower and we're small people. Rarely got hot water. But the room Steward was outstanding! The food in all the places- specialty as well as Main Diningroom just VERY average! ...
When Crystal sadly went bankrupt Oceania were among the alternatives we tried out. Here are our findings.
Oceania try to carve out a space for themselves between the mass market and the luxury segment. If you ask me they are closer to the former than the latter.
THEIR BOOKING AND ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS are designed exclusively to prevent any wrongdoings by the staff in favour of the customer. It ...
We booked this cruise as it had been several years since we last visited Europe and we liked this itinerary. This portion of the trip embarked in Rome, we stayed at the W Hotel, a brand new property with excellent and clean accommodations and outstanding service. Would not hesitate to rebook there. We contracted with Rome cabs to transfer us- the dad dropped us off right in front of the ship. ...
Marina – September 15th – 26th – Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, France & Spain
Let me start this by saying that this was our second cruise with Oceana and our twenty + cruise overall. If you asked me to write down three complaints about my last Oceana cruise – I would have a hard time coming up with anything. Our last Oceana cruise was near perfection – great customer service from when ...
This back to back (12 + 7) days cruise was booked one year ago. Four weeks before departure we were informed by Oceania that our chosen stateroom 7004 was unavailable for "Maritime Technical" reasons. We chose this particular cabin because of the extended balcony. Phone call queries with both our Travel Agent and Oceania as to what this term meant proved fruitless. We eventually agreed with ...
We initially selected this cruise back in 2019, based on the itinerary especially calling into St Petersburg for 2 nights, but of course this was cancelled.
The ports were varied from great ( Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki,Talinn) to average(Riga, Gdansk, due to the excursion, an hour on the bus and very limiting time and a lot of guide talk) to not so good at all- Aarhus and Kotka. Visby was ...
We didn't choose this cruise so much as we were forced into it. Back Story: In 2020, we booked Oceania's Scandinavian Baltic cruise. And then COVID-19. We were "assured" that if cruise would be canceled again, we would receive a a refund. Lie Number 1. As COVID-19 began to ease, we sailed on both Celebrity and Viking waiting for Oceania to re-open. Final Straw, we were booked on the August ...
