Cruised on Oceania a few yeas ago and decided to book with them again. This was a mistake. We had a penthouse suite, it was okey. The mattress was well past its prime. It's a beautiful ship and the service was first rate.

This cruise for 20 days had lots of problems. Most importantly, the temperature on board was uncontrolled. The ship was freezing. People wore sweaters everywhere. The polo grill was so cold you couldn't eat in the front area. We were told that the AC is broken and the thermostats don't work. That also includes the cabins. The AC is either on or off with no controls.

This is 4th cruise with Oceania and first post Covid.
Very sad to report, in my opinion, the Oceania of the pass is no longer a float.
We have experienced almost across the board changes in service, food quality and selection and poor attitudes.

We'd been sailing with other lines for a few years and decided to go back to Oceania mainly for the smaller ships. Right from the start it was bad. Didn't get into our stateroom until at least 3:00 p.m. The balcony was so noisy we couldn't use it, the shower so small my husband had to open the door to pick up the soap if he dropped it, the bottom of the shower was filthy and the beds were mush. ...

Have been on many Oceania boats but not since COVID. Definitely have lowered standards. Ports were great except Albania. Supposed to be in Tirana but instead were berthed in Durres. For independent travellers, no bus to Tirana. Durres a big yawn as was Albania. The ship definitely treats passengers who do not choose to use their tours (expensive and slow) as 2nd class citizens. I am sorry to say that in spite of fabulous food, a wonderful cabin and food crew, and amazing staterooms, I would never go on an Oceania Cruise again. The management staff (with the exception of the concierge) as non-existent.
