Oceania Vista, not up to par.

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Oceania Vista

I choose the Vista because of its new design and elegance. I was fully expecting to enjoy the high end Oceania service and quality, but mush to our disappointment it fell far short of the normal service and quality of food. I booked this on opening day over 2 years ago and was looking forward to this marvelous itinerary that showcase our ability to enjoy this brand new ship. Right of the bat the ...

Oceania standards have dropped

Wanted to transit through the Panama canal. Having been on Oceania before we were looking forward to this cruise. Previously we were really impressed with the service and food. Sadly Oceania's standards have dropped greatly. The quality of the staff on board is not very good. One is constantly trying to get service and often we have had to resort to find the restaurant manager and asking ...

My wife and I were on an Oceania Insignia Mediterranean cruise years ago. The food and overall experience was amazing!!! We have done Regent and RC cruises, but have been mainly using Holland America for cruises (love the Pinnacle class ships!) We wanted to do another Oceania cruise... mainly for the food. We were on The Regatta for the September 27 through October 4 cruise "California ...

Oceania Didn't Hit The Mark This Time

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Regatta

We are repeat customers of Oceania (fifth time for my wife, third for me) but first time on Regatta and first cruise post-pandemic. Compared to previous Oceania cruises, we found the food and service generally mediocre. Terrace Cafe items mostly bland (including two days of the most flavorless Mexican we've ever eaten) and at least once, the Grand Dining Room menu included many of the same items ...

My husband and I signed up for the Regatta cruise round trip out of Los Angeles. We’d sailed Celebrity in the Mediterranean and to Alaska twenty years ago and enjoyed those trips but weren’t yearning to cruise again. We’d heard from friends who sailed before the pandemic that Oceania had phenomenal food and wine service. Instead, we got great food at several meals, but mostly it was something I’d ...

we booked this cruise last minute after a long hard winter. a splurge (because oceania is more expensive than many of the other cruise lines) after dearth of travel due to covid. we encountered two types of people on the ship. those who say they sail on oceania exclusively because of its small size, no kids, and superior dining and service. and those who don't get it. after our ten days, ...

Alumni group, canal transit, fairly good destinations. However, we purposefully left behind our personal computers and electrical outlet adaptors because the ADVERTISEMENT said 120 outlets and a personal computer would be provided, along with FREE internet. The actuality of the situation was that this boat was built in ITALY, and half the outlets were the standard Italian recessed oval double ...

IF YOU WANT A LUXURIOUS CRUISE DONT CHOSE OCEANIA!

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Sirena

Chose this particular cruise for the destination ports of call - Hawaii and the French Polynesian Islands. Trip of a lifetime and a celebration of a big birthday for my husband. * Poor entertainment considering so many days spent at sea * Eye wateringly expensive on shore tours * Really expensive drinks - $28 for two glasses of wine! * Complicated and frustrating wifi system - if you ...

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Sirena

We travelled the pacific visiting Hawaiian & Polynesian Islands in January 2017. The communal areas of the ship are of excellent standard, most are very grand & opulent. We had a veranda cabin which was comfortable but very dark in design and could be a bit gloomy. The Shower/bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen in my life and the fittings were of poor quality - a plastic shower curtain for ...
