1-10 of 20 Oceania Insignia Cruise Reviews for Luxury to Europe - Western Mediterranean
Do not i repeat, do not book an norwegian/oceana cruise. You have been warned we are on the around the world cruise currently. the cruise is 196 days from miami florida to new york. It is utterly a complete disappoint. If i was to write every disappointment, we have experienced up to now it would be 10 pages. We are going to try to condense it. First, they advertises the best cuisine at sea. That ...
This was not a Mediterranean Cruise as the lead-in shows. This was the last two segments (39 days) of an Around the World Cruise that started in January. We were on the first segment at the beginning and there were a significant number of changes and cancellations on that cruise along with serious COVID restrictions. We were booked on the original last two segments, Cape Town to New York. Since ...
This was a crossing that lasted 23 days. We chose it largely for the ports. Unfortunately we were closed out of several due to Covid or weather. I understand weather as a reason for not docking, but I don't get the poor transparency. We all had to jump through the Bermuda protocol hoops prior to embarkation but then we didn't go there- likely due to folks not understanding the protocols. ...
NEVER AGAIN!!
Completed a segment of the Oceania Around the World 2019 cruise.
Treated like a second class citizen by ATW Travelers who were given special privileges while the rest of us treated as if we did not belong despite the dollars paid being very high.(The ATW cruisers made up nearly 3/4 of the cruisers onboard) .
Atmosphere onboard - us and them - it was dreadful. Crew ...
Overall the cruise was excellent and all that I had expected and hoped for.
I felt that the staff were excellent and accommodating.
The food was good most of the time, and I appreciate that the buffet is high quality and an excellent alternative to the main dining room. The food is not your typical buffet pre-made food, and there are lots of healthy choices.
The internet was terrible ...
Chose this cruise for the itinerary and the fact that it went to Milford Sound. The day we were in Milford Sound was amazing. The normally shrouded in clouds location was bright and sunny and clear, which made viewing of the glaciers, mountains, waterfalls just spectacular. Oceania does a very good job in many areas. Food is always beautifully presented and delicious. The selections are ...
We chose the Auckland to Bali leg of the Insignia`s world cruise and were very happy with itinerary, Milford sound being a particular delight. The ship`s staff were universally helpful and friendly, the food just about the best of our 20 or so cruises, and the wine package reasonable. Having cruised on the larger Riviera we prefer the latter not least for the more roomy public areas and theatre, ...
This was my 6th cruise with Oceania and my 2nd on a R class ship
First the ship is a classic in design and style like a upscale British country hotel, Fine art, cherry paneling, fine carpets wrought iron and brass... class and ambiance. at 30,000 tons she is very seaworthy and easy to get around on 500 feet not like the 1000ft + monster ships. With only 520 passengers it was a ...
Review of Oceania (Insignia) Sept. 12 - Sept 29. Valletta, Malta to Miami Florida, USA
This was our third cruise (our first repositioning) and the first with Oceania. We were a bit trepidatious signing up for this cruise as we were not enthralled with our previous two experiences (NCL and Royal Caribbean). However, we were bowled over with the excellent standards on Oceania Insignia in all ...
This was our first time on Oceania. I had heard only good things about this cruise line. We were told that food was excellent, service great and ship lovely. Most of the aforementioned did not hold true. During the life raft drill, before we even left port, we were told that this was a sick ship and that there was Norovirus on our ship. They then said safety measures would be in place. This ...
