Overall the cruise was excellent and all that I had expected and hoped for. I felt that the staff were excellent and accommodating. The food was good most of the time, and I appreciate that the buffet is high quality and an excellent alternative to the main dining room. The food is not your typical buffet pre-made food, and there are lots of healthy choices. The internet was terrible ...

Don't do this in the summer. We were hit with temperatures in the upper 90s and higher, with humidity around 100-percent much of the time. Other than that, and the chairs scraping noise from the grill above our stateroom (see cabin review below), this was a wonderful cruise. The ship is on the small side, only 684 passengers. This was Insignia’s ‘rechristening’ cruise, as apparently it had been on loan for a couple of years, and was now back in the Oceania fleet. As such, the Founding Chairman and his good lady were aboard for the duration, and ...

This was the second in a b2b, our first time on Oceania. We've been on most of the mainstream lines and decided to try something more upscale. What a wonderful experience, worth every penny. High Points: Food, Service, the Ship Food was outstanding. Ironically, the two specialty restaurants were not wonderful, but the GDR was amazing. Most lines have good food, some excellent. But Oceania was ...
