RIPPED OFF AND HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, DO NOT CRUISE

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

Do not i repeat, do not book an norwegian/oceana cruise. You have been warned we are on the around the world cruise currently. the cruise is 196 days from miami florida to new york. It is utterly a complete disappoint. If i was to write every disappointment, we have experienced up to now it would be 10 pages. We are going to try to condense it. First, they advertises the best cuisine at sea. That ...

We were on Insignia (Atlantic Glaciers and Harbors cruise) August 13-30, 2023 and are Bronze. Past sailings have been amazing and have always left me with wanting more. This cruise I was so disappointed that I am hoping it was a fluke and I have another cruise coming up within the month. But I am wondering if financial woes have taken the best of this cruise line. Most notable was the food. You ...

A Luxury Cruise Line That Is Not As Good As Most Premium Cruise Lines

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

We had not cruised for several years (pandemic and health issues) and were really excited to try a luxury cruise line. All of our previous 20 or so cruises have been with Premium cruise lines. We should have tried a short Oceania cruise before committing to a World Cruise so the fact that we were so disappointed was our fault entirely. On the positive side, the ship size was perfect. We were able ...

NOTE: We were only on the first segment from Miami to San Francisco. The following review is intended to provide helpful information to those considering cruising on the Oceania Insignia. Please remember that this is only one person’s opinion and may not reflect your view or the opinions of others. I will be providing a grade for each of the ship’s various services along with an explanation of ...

This was not a Mediterranean Cruise as the lead-in shows. This was the last two segments (39 days) of an Around the World Cruise that started in January. We were on the first segment at the beginning and there were a significant number of changes and cancellations on that cruise along with serious COVID restrictions. We were booked on the original last two segments, Cape Town to New York. Since ...

This was a crossing that lasted 23 days. We chose it largely for the ports. Unfortunately we were closed out of several due to Covid or weather. I understand weather as a reason for not docking, but I don't get the poor transparency. We all had to jump through the Bermuda protocol hoops prior to embarkation but then we didn't go there- likely due to folks not understanding the protocols. ...

NEVER AGAIN!! Completed a segment of the Oceania Around the World 2019 cruise. Treated like a second class citizen by ATW Travelers who were given special privileges while the rest of us treated as if we did not belong despite the dollars paid being very high.(The ATW cruisers made up nearly 3/4 of the cruisers onboard) . Atmosphere onboard - us and them - it was dreadful. Crew ...

I have cruised on the Marina twice and was wondering how I would find the R class (smaller ship than the O class) Insignia. Well, I loved it. Why? The size was excellent and the passengers did not overwhelm the ports or tendering operations. Just a nice scale. True the Veranda suites are smaller and particularly the showers than the Marina but they were not disappointing. I did not miss the other ...

Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on Insignia

This was our fifth cruise with Oceania, second on Insignia. We knew what to expect: good food and excellent service from friendly, enthusiastic and happy crew. We were again not impressed with the entertainment, Oceania's weakest point. The production cast, six young singers/dancers are high school level. There was only one guest entertainer who was really good, Jeri Sager, a broadway singer ...

Let me first begin by saying this was our 3 rd. Oceania cruise and the itinerary and staff was wonderful. We enjoyed all the ports we visited and the staff was warm, friendly and professional. The food on the ship was very good, but being a small Oceania ship...there were only 2 speciality restaurants. As we got into cooler temperatures, the outdoor area of the buffet was closed, so it was very ...
