This was not a Mediterranean Cruise as the lead-in shows. This was the last two segments (39 days) of an Around the World Cruise that started in January. We were on the first segment at the beginning and there were a significant number of changes and cancellations on that cruise along with serious COVID restrictions. This was our fifth cruise with Oceania, second on Insignia. We knew what to expect: good food and excellent service from friendly, enthusiastic and happy crew. We have are a couple in our 60's who have sailed on many prior cruises. This was our first Oceania cruise. We have been on Celebrity "M" class ships, HAL, Windstar, Viking Oceans and Azamara. Coming off of a RSSC cruise on Voyager, also in Scandinavia, expectations were high. Oceania, while not the same all-inclusive experience, offered better dining and an altogether better value proposition as well as a more lively crowd.
