Around the World 2019 Cruisers on Oceania!!!

Review for Insignia to Asia

NEVER AGAIN!! Completed a segment of the Oceania Around the World 2019 cruise. Treated like a second class citizen by ATW Travelers who were given special privileges while the rest of us treated as if we did not belong despite the dollars paid being very high.(The ATW cruisers made up nearly 3/4 of the cruisers onboard) . Atmosphere onboard - us and them - it was dreadful. Crew ...

Just returned from the Tokyo to Singapore (25day)segment of the World Cruise on Insignia. (We were not advised at time of booking with Oceania that we were joining a world cruise)Spent a lot of money on this trip and have never had such a bad experience on Oceania. We were not aware we were joining aprox 360 world cruisers (w.c’s.) but found out right away that cliques had already been established ...

In need of a lot of updating and maintenance!

We specifically chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We were expecting a wonderful experience but from the first night on board our expectations which started very high soon went downhill fast. I was in the middle of cleaning my teeth when the water went off, no prior warning, it just stopped! After about 10 minutes it eventually came back but it was not clear and looked like coffee. ...

Great itinerary

We chose this cruise for the itinerary, which was very interesting. Unfortunately, due to heavy fog, we were unable to dock in Shanghai, which threw off the ship's schedule. However, the ship offered a free cocktail hour to try to make up for our disappointment. We were staying in a penthouse, and our butler was excellent, as were all the service personnel on the ship. I felt the cabin was a ...

Another Great Time with Oceania

This was our second cruise with Oceania. The first was a tour of the Baltic on the Marina. We chose this cruise because of it's interesting itinerary. The Insignia was appointed very nicely. We found the smaller ship to be a bit more intimate than the Marina. Our penthouse was nicely appointed and the size was adequate. The food for the most part was excellent. The meals in the main dining ...

We sailed the Med with Oceania Riviera and loved the 'O' experience. This itinerary through Asia suited us and was all we thought it would be and probably more. The Insignia (smaller ship) was perfectly sized for the ports as it was able to berth in locations that the larger ships could not, offering fantastic access to places like Ho Chi Min city and Bangkok and wonderful sights along the way to ...

First time cruisers on Oceania. My wife and I are both in our early 50's and have to admit that we felt very young on this ship, both in a positive and negative way. Spent two extra days in Singapore, which I would highly recommend to anyone embarking in this port, what a wonderful city to explore and an easy gateway into Asian cities and culture. The itinerary was outstanding, enjoyed every port. ...

Very Few Niggles

We had already booked for the Sydney to Miami final three sectors of the January 2015 World cruise, and were on Marina over the 2014 Christmas period when news of the Insignia fire, and subsequent repairs in San Juan, came through. As expected, quite a few full RTW passengers cancelled out (quite understandable if they wanted to go all the way around.) We decided to pick up one of the Singapore - ...
