Oceania Regatta - Time For A break

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Regatta

We are avid travellers and have been on numerous cruises including many with Oceania. Here's an overview of our most recent cruise with Oceania on the ship Regatta. The food is very good when it comes to your table hot. There were a few times in the dining room when the food was luke warm and we were served food on plates and bowls that were chipped or damaged. The buffet food is hit or ...

Felt Underwhelmed for the Price

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Regatta

We were on the Regatta from Australia to New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa x 2 and French Polynesia. My feedback is as follows: 1. Staff - very friendly and generally eager to please. However, tend to be a number who lack training, so service is variable. 2. Cabins - please don't pretend they are state rooms, it insults the passengers! Generally basic, but good enough, but shower area is tiny. Bigger ...

Disappointing tours and food

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Regatta

Overall: This was somewhat disappointing cruise that did not live up to the hype. Embarkation: A breeze. Easiest boarding ever. No lines, knowledgeable people. Cabin: We had a B-1 veranda stateroom. The room itself was fine. Flat screen TV, although not much to watch. (You could watch “Titanic” if ship disaster movies are your thing.) Adequate underbed storage for our soft-sided ...

We were planning a long cruise of 9 weeks from Auckland to LA of about 9 weeks. When they sold it to us we thought that this was one cruise but we found out that this cruise was split up in 3 parts. With twice the same ports as you did at the end of the cruise that just ended. That was not told at all when they sold this to us! So at the end of the first cruise part you end again in Auckland where ...

A Longtime Princess Cruiser Sails Oceania

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Nautica

We’ve been on over three dozen Princess cruises and until recently we didn’t have any reason to stray from them. But the dream itinerary that we wanted to do was no longer offered by Princess. We booked the 10 day French Polynesia cruise a couple of times with Princess during Covid and it was cancelled. The final cancellation was because they sold the Pacific Princess and Princess no longer had ...

Finest cruise at sea turned in to finest Marketing at Sea. Cuisine was ok in main dining room and better in specialty restaurants but similar to NCL and Princess specialty venues. Princess has tge best pizza at sea is true! Certainly not above the others. I found my self looking for peanut sauce for chicken sauté, none! Making my own tartar sauce for fish from mayo and mustard. ...

After cruising many lines over 35 years, Oceania is our favorite. Great food, small ships, and interesting ports and excursions (previous to this cruise). First, the positive: Oceania has great ships. We've been on the Riviera (@1200 passengers) and the smaller Insignia and Nautica (@600 passengers}. The ships are well laid out with specialty restaurants, a fantastic buffet, comfortable ...

Our cruise needed to feature on "Mighty Cruise Ships" for disappointment, but no happy ending.

We booked this cruise on Oceania as a repeat cruise for my special birthday, having done this exact same cruise 7 years ago, and loved it! We have enjoyed many cruises before, both ocean and river, with various cruise lines, and expected a wonderful time on this smaller, high end cruise line. Before I begin, positives were great food, mainly pleasant staff, wonderful library, comfortable ...

HAPPY CRUISING WITH OCEANIA

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Nautica

We chose this cruise having cruised with Oceania on the Riviera 8 years ago. I have read some of the reviews on the NAUTICA before we traveled and having now completed the cruise I believe that some of the expectations are unfair. The ambience of Oceania is very comfortable and uncrowded and fits within the 5 star+ bracket that is on its own. The lodgings very comfortable being suite forward ...
