Took cruise because it had several stops we wanted to see. Unfortunately they canceled 3 of the ports. Substitutions were less than stellar and 1 was made into a sea day and two days of very slow cruising. The service was below oceania standards. We sailed Oceania Marina for 10 days from Copenhagen to Stockholm, doing the Baltic. Our ports included Warnemunde, Klaipeda, Riga, Helsinki, 3 days in St. Petersburg, Tallinn and one sea day. We have sailed the smaller Oceania ships before, but this was the first time on Marina.

We chose this cruise for 2 reasons: First because we had heard a lot of positive reviews for Oceania and wanted to try it to compare to other cruises we have been on. Second because it stayed 3 days in St Petersburg.

This was a very average cruise and a real disappointment. WE have cruised many times before with Seabourn, Cunard and RCI, so were eagerly expecting an excellent cruise with Oceania.
Not to be. Its a very nice ship and well kept. The food is good and the day to day staff work hard and are very helpful. Spa and Gym are good.
