Nautica is a beautiful little ship. The crew were wonderful. Unfortunately this didn’t make up for a number of other issues relating to this supposedly upmarket company.
1. The itinerary change was so drastic it didn’t resemble what we booked in any way. Other ships still visited Egypt, Oman and Salalah and these ports were cancelled on our trip. The day we were meant to visit Athens was windy ...
I would love to be gushing about how awesome our first (and last) Oceania Cruise was on the Marina. I will begin with the positive. The ship is beautifully appointed for an older ship and immaculately clean. The cabin staff is awesome as is the wait staff. They oversee all buffet food service - keeping guests from handling food. The bed was extremely comfortable and so were the pool loungers. ...
We have sailed Oceania many times before and it was excellent. This time the food (which was their number 1 attraction) was very substandard. For example the famous Sea Bass in Red Ginger used to be the best we ever experienced. This time the flavors were different and the thickness if the Sea Bass was half of what it was.
The crew seemed inexperienced and not totally trained.

I chose this cruise for the itinerary and because for my 50th birthday I wanted a luxury cruise with wonderful food. My spouse and I encouraged our friends to tag along and they spent more than we usually would for the Oceania experience. The ship and concierge rooms we had were nice enough, we also enjoyed the small ship feel and ease of embarking and disembarking each time.
Most of the ...
We chose this cruise in order to see specific ports including Barcelona, Seville, Oporto, Bordeaux and Bilbao. We chose Oceania specifically for the itinerary, small size of ship and reputation for a top notch cruise ship with excellent food and personal service. We signed up for several excursions and planned a few private excursions with our traveling companions. We found the staff on board ...
We had sailed previously on the Marina and had a good cruise. Oceania offered an itinerary for Iberian and French Charisma that appealed to us. Unfortunately, due to weather delays in Denver, we did not arrive in Barcelona until 8:30 PM, which was after the Sirena had sailed. As we had booked our flights and transfers through Oceania, we were confident that someone would meet us at the airport ...
As a couple who has cruised many times on HAL, Norwegian, Celebrity, Princess, Viking and Windstar, we decided to look into Oceania as their smaller ship with exceptional food and service reputation appealed to us. Much of the cruise was not only disappointing, but actually frustrating. Our boarding passes stated that our embarkation time would be at 6:30 p.m. There were two busloads of ...
I choose this cruise because it itinerary was Barcelona to Venice and Oceania reputation.
Oceania knew the ship would not port in Venice as advertised but waited to inform passengers just a few weeks before sailing. The April itinerary had already been changed. Venice excursion information was delayed until after the deadline to cancel. My Oceania rep assured me there would be several ...
We had chosen Olife choice with flights. What was our surprise when we arrived at the airport to find that the flight schedule had been changed by the airline several months ago and no one had notified me or my travel agent. So I tried the help number, only voicemails, I left message and no one returned our calls. I thought I would have a nice holiday without any worries, but I was wrong, it ...
In summary:
- mainly cold og luke warm food in most restaurants
- totally un-usable internet, and only one user at the time per stateroom - not acceptable in 2019
- Insulting missing invitation to captains coctail . although I have sailed with this ship twice before -they have no clue about former guests
. a lot of errors in pour group booking, ended up in costing us over 600 USD ...
