Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Riviera

We wanted to find some sun and liked the itinerary detailed for this cruise. We have been on the Riviera's sister ship the Marina and knew it was exactly the same size and also had the same Speciality Dining options which we had previously found to be excellent. Oceania arranged our flights and transport to the ship/airport. This was one of our few criticisms as rather than flying us directly ...

Very small balcony hut, very good service, quiet ship.

Friends recommended oceania cruises because of the good food. The food was good, but compared to the other cruiselines where we booked balcony huts in Europe since 2010, this was by far the worst in size, also the bathroom was far too small. The service was very good and the ship is very quiet compared to MSC, Norwegian, Costa. The food was good, but not exceptional. Dinner in the Polo ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Marina

Had another strong experience with Oceania on the Marina. We didn't notice much difference between the Riviera and the Marina, given they are only one year different. The restaurants were excellent, the staff very service-oriented. Embarking and disembarking all went smoothly. We took one of the cooking classes, which was a lot of fun, and we learned some valuable items. The fitness room was ...

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Sirena

Chose first for destinations, secondly because it was Oceania....previously on the Marina, and loved the ship. Cruise Director on Sirena was far superior to the one on Marina though. Meals and service in Red Ginger and Toscana were very good. Too often we had to search for a seat in the Terrace. For most part service was excellent; the odd person appeared to hate their job and it ...

Review for a Italy Cruise on Sirena

I planned this trip for my husband's birthday and did a lot of research in advance. The newly refurbished Sirena is beautifully equipped. Its layout makes sense and there are surprises tucked on every deck -music - refreshments - relaxation. There were some hiccups with communication - many of the employees speak limited English but they are efficient and friendly. Our cabin lacked nothing and ...

Oceania cruise service above average

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Riviera

Oceania offered a trip to ports which interested us, with a reputation for fine service. In most aspects, we were very satisfied. The cabin was commodious and well furnished, with a full bed, love seat, desk, two large closets, and a large bathroom tiled in granite which included both spacious shower and a tub. The Riviera had an elegant, low key color scheme of beige, gold, tan, and black ...

Very nice cruiseship, a little on the small side, but nice. Cabin (9 floor) with veranda was also nice, welcoming champagne (and yes it was champagne, not sparkling wine). 3 excursions was included in the price. Lots of speciality restaurants you can book in advance, great cooking in all of them. Service was great, but coffee wasn't. Only place to get coffee was the barista cafe...everywhere ...

We chose this cruise for its itinerary to sail around the coast of Spain. We wanted to try a smaller ship, as we had sailed on all big ships in the past (1900+, and mostly 3000+). I guess you would consider Oceania a hybrid luxury line, with many amenities of a luxury line, but not all inclusive. The small ship experience is a mixed bag. Obviously it is easier to get around, has a more ...

Our Best Ocean Cruise Ever

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Sirena

Inaugural cruise of Sirena and we sailed on Marina last year. The service on arrival was excellent although it was obvious much needed to be finished, they were still painting sections when we left 14 dats later. Our bed head arrived after day three. Of more concern was the sewerage system which failed on and off throughout the voyage. These were minor difficulties though and even though we were ...
