We booked this cruise on board in December 2019 just before COVID hit. Were looking forward to St. Petersburg which was dropped due to the war and overnights were added near the end of the cruise.
Service aboard was way above excellent. Food was back up to pre covid levels. OLife Excursions were good to excellent.
Because this cruise was low % of passengers, we noticed the upgrade of ...
Be ware-- while Oceania's cruise prices are mostly back to "normal" our cruise was not. As you will read in reviews by others, there are many differences with prior cruises on Oceania. This was our 7th cruise on Oceania. The staff tries hard but is either poorly or insuffiently trained. Too many staff are inexperienced. They smile and are pleasant but miss the mark. Consequently, you may food ...
We sailed from Dublin to Dublin beginning on 7/3/22. We chose this cruise because of the great itinerary. The ship went all the way around Ireland.
The ports were all great. The staff was amazing. The food superb.
However, there was very limited internet access. Access is advertised as free and available all over the ship. There wasn’t enough bandwidth available for the number of ...
You can always find things on a cruise that can be made better. This cruise was no exception. But, in general, the cruise was good and enjoyable. For people looking for more to do and a slightly younger crowd--look for something else. Oceania, is known for the food on board and in general I would say the food is nicely prepared, presented and good. In the main dining room there is something new ...
I cannot reiterate how bad this cruise was. There was no communication between crew members and guests. Sat on a tour bus for 30 minutes, at no point was it communicated that we were missing 2 passengers. Rushed through breakfast to get to lounge for out tour. Once again, no statement that everything was running 30-40 minutes late. Told to bring passports to shore, completely false. Could ...
This was not a Mediterranean Cruise as the lead-in shows. This was the last two segments (39 days) of an Around the World Cruise that started in January. We were on the first segment at the beginning and there were a significant number of changes and cancellations on that cruise along with serious COVID restrictions. We were booked on the original last two segments, Cape Town to New York. Since ...
We have all experienced the pandemic and wondered what cruising would look like in the New Reality. We took a chance on an early return to cruising on Oceania Marina and are so glad we did.
Pre-cruise, there was a lot of uncertainty, with various European ports opening/closing/changing requirements. Oceania could have handled communications better with passengers. However, O offered ...
We chose the cruise for the itinerary .....and also for St. Petersburg. This is our first cruise with Oceania and we have already booked another cruise for next year! So with that being said we can only say good things about Oceania Nautica. There is nothing negative to say....albeit the ship is being refurbished in a few months but the ship was still beautiful. Our stateroom was roomy, the bed ...
Just returned from three week cruise on Riviera. Have cruised with them before but I think they have gone downhill. Many small problems. Late for several excursion because of management issues. Three tours was cut short because of problems but we were offered no compensation. Twice we had serious tender issues and once had to be towed back to ship. Crew was good but I think there are management ...
We loved Oceania so we booked a trip from Iceland, through Greenland, Canada, and the coast, to New York. Plenty of headaches leaving and returning to the ship because of the tenders. Lots of ineptness by the staff. Plenty of "hurry up and wait." We arrived in Reykjavik at 6:30 a.m. and were taken to a hotel but first, we waited for an hour at the airport as the staff tried to find our names and ...
