This was our 3rd cruise and second with Oceania. Our first cruise was to French Polynesia on Regatta and was cut short due to the Covid outbreak. We are long time Oceania aficionados, and were very much looking forward to this cruise from Singapore to Sydney. The Regatta is a small ship (and I mention this as a plus) which was last refurbished in 2019. While I have no complaints about the condition of the ship, it does not have the "wow" factor many people are looking for while cruising.

5th sailing with Oceania..love the staff, sizes of their ships and the itineraries. We have been on the Nautica and Marina as well. Both very nice ships with equally wonderful staff and service. Cruise Ship Personnel Service Excellent
Cruise Director & Entertainment Staff Excellent
Specialty restaurants very good at no extra charge. Polo Grill better than Toscanini.
Can obtain extra reservation day of if not totally booked
No issue bringing on your own alcohol

This is cruise 18 with Oceania on all ships but Serena. I am not sure if i have been unlucky but the service level was less than “normal”. For example at the Sunday brunch my wife and i finished before any staff member asked us if we wanted water, juice or anything else except cocktails. Travelling alone for the first time I found the staff very helpful,friendly and accomodating.
The choice of meals in the Main Dining Room was very limited and was very salty overall including the Terrace Grill.Overall I enjoyed it. The Ship was on it's last voyage before dry dock where it was getting a complete overall,so a lot of the other things will not apply.
