Very disappointed - Nautica excursions and internet

Review for a Asia Cruise on Nautica

This is our third trip on Nautica. We stopped for two years because of Covid On this trip - the food is excellent - the staff is ver friendly and courteous - the room stewards ( ours is May ) are superb But - The internet service is one person per cabin, even though we paid for two people. Website misleading, only states free internet no mention of restrictions per cabin - ...

Cutbacks have made Oceania quite mediocre.

We are a retired couple who have cruised with Oceania for many years. In the past, they have been outstanding; however, recent cutbacks have resulted in our May 2023 Singapore to Dubai cruise falling well short of our expectations. Specifically: * Although the meals were well-cooked and attractively presented, the food quality was lower. We received shrimp whose meat was mush; hard to cut ...

Epic journey thru Asia

My first trip to Asia and I am so glad I could travel on my home away from home - Oceania Cruise Line. The crew of the Nautica was so welcoming, the right balance of professional and friendly. We spent 41 days on board from Singapore to Barcelona. My only regret really is that the timing for this cruise was pushed back a bit, so instead of sailing in March it was in May. This meant that we were ...

Lovely ship and great itinerary, just a few negatives

My wife and I booked this cruise in February 2022 after receiving a brochure from my university's alumni association. This was our first cruise with Oceania. It definitely won't be our last, but we will likely wait a few years. The Nautica is a beautiful ship, absolutely gleaming with high-end fixtures and appointments like rolled towels and marble in the bathrooms and immaculate hallways. The bed ...

You can’t trust them.

Our first time on Oceania will be our last mostly due to “destination services” because of their unprofessional poor communication, incorrect information and no notification of significant time changes. We booked air with them and paid for upgraded service but when United separated our seats I was left to fend for myself to fix it. Upon in arrival Japan we were told our transfer to ship would ...

Several pros and cons - Oceania Japanese Immersion

I chose this cruise because a good friend of mine read about it in her alumni magazine and it was a tour organized for alums (although hardly the only ones on the ship). The intinerary - 10 days around Japan to different ports (with one stop in Busan, South Korea) was great. I selected a package that included airfare, and multiple changes were made to my flight schedule. Several of us ended up ...

Disorganization

We have been on Oceania cruises before, and always felt they were superior to other cruise lines. However, we are extremely disappointing with our current cruise. The staff are great, the ship is clean, the food is good. What is not good are the excursions. There is great disorganization and red tape going through customs. For most of the ports, we were the first cruise ship to come through in ...

Apologies for such a long review. A party of five people travlling all family. We booked our cruise ( and 1 to come) from our experience going on Regatta 5 years ago, unfortunately due to illness and COVID we have only just managed to get back to cruising ! Our flights were booked with Oceania, our non-stop flight was changed to a stop in Dubai, which was fine, we flew Emirates. All went ...

A Luxury Cruise Line That Is Not As Good As Most Premium Cruise Lines

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

We had not cruised for several years (pandemic and health issues) and were really excited to try a luxury cruise line. All of our previous 20 or so cruises have been with Premium cruise lines. We should have tried a short Oceania cruise before committing to a World Cruise so the fact that we were so disappointed was our fault entirely. On the positive side, the ship size was perfect. We were able ...

Please remember that this is only one person’s opinion and may not reflect your view or the opinions of others.
