This was our 8th cruise with Oceania and our first after the pandemic. Some have mentioned that the ship decor is dated, which I agree with, however, I heard they are renovating the ship in a few months. The restaurants were great as usual - my favorite was Jacques. The spa was wonderful and the cooking class was a lot of fun.
While there are still many things to love about Oceania - the ...
We wanted to see the Baltic and were not disappointed. We prefer the relaxed pace of river cruising, also because of the relative ease of getting into port, and the lack of sea days. This trip was as close to that as we could find on an ocean cruise. There was only one sea day, all other days being in port. The ports were great. We took only the Russian tours, which were essentially forced on us ...
We wanted to visit Norway again & since this cruise also had some new to us ports we booked it
It was round trip Amsterdam which was also a good feature for us
We took the cruise only fare & booked our own Bus class seat on Air Canada ..wonderful lie flat seats we managed to actually sleep on the flight

This is the third time we been on a cruise with Oceania and had a mixed feelings about this cruise. When we booked the cruise, we selected the O-Life package which includes Economy Class Air, Gratuities, Internet Package, $400/person excursions. Since that we each had $400 for the excursions and we found out that we cannot booked the excursions ahead of time. On the first day when we got on the ...
We have cruised with Oceania seven times so that speaks for itself how we regarded this cruise line.
After visiting the Van Gogh museum and generally walking around Amsterdam we commenced our 23 days on Marina from 24 September to Barcelona, disembarking on 16 October. We thoroughly enjoyed the nightly entertainment and, as usual the dining experience was excellent, including the times we had ...
Our second journey on Marina in three years. This one 12 days vs 26 days on earlier cruise. This itinerary was very port intensive with no at sea days. For a 12 day cruise it was very manageable. We missed one port due to poor tendering weather conditions at Biarritz, so Bilbao had us for an extra day.
The food and service was as good as our previous cruise. We tended to use the Terrace ...
Especially Bruges, Guernsey, Bordeaux, Ferrol and Lisbon were very nice. Bruges is fabulous. Had a good lunch ashore with a special local beer 'Straffe Hendrik': delicious! In Ferrol I discovered a very good white wine: a Dao Passarella. We made two local excursions in Portugal which can be recommended.
On board we had the best bridge TD couple in a long time: friendly and reallygood.
What a ...
The ship is well cared for - looks perfect in fact. Loved the room but would change out the useless tubs in exchange for a double sink.
We appreciated the delicious food in all specialty restarants and the advice of the sommeliers. Some other reviews noted these folks "push" more expensive wine. My husband is a sommelier himself and her was pleased to listen to Toscana's very tall sommelier ...
This is our second cruise with Oceania – we were quite delighted with our previous trip last year cruising the Aegean and so re-booked this cruise around the Baltic and its wonderful destinations.
The ship has continued to live up to its high standards with stunning rooms and suites, with the attention to detail fixtures and fittings top notch. We were in one of the penthouse suites. We have ...
Oceania fouled up their shore operations again. Shuttles into Bilbao from ship around lunchtime were on a 40 minute to one hour schedule. We left our stateroom with sufficient time to debark, walk to the terminal and catch a shuttle. We were not informed that the gangway was being moved and we were held up for about ten minutes while the gangway was shifted to to tides. We missed the shuttle ...
