Two lower beds which make up into a standard queen-size bed, ample wardrobe and drawer space, a TV, refrigerator, private safe, and bathroom with shower are the central features of these cosy cabins. Average square footage ranges from 135 to 148 square feet
We opted for,an inside cabin. It was ok but had dreadful dim lighting especially over the dressing table. The "stool" was a hard table! There were not enough power points. The shower was quite large and the bathroom better size than some. There was adequate storage but it all needed updating. Our steward was excellent. Read entire member review >>
Tidy, clean, tired drawers and wardrobe, flickering bedside lights, broken air-con (said they'd sent an engineer, but it still didn't work)
Small poorly-placed flatscreen TV showing some movies (Paddington) on endless loop for 11 days
VERY hard beds, soft pillows, good shower and wash area. Read entire member review >>
Very small cabin, with restrictive pull down bed for our 17 year old daughter who had to pay full adult price.
Toilet was dirty and unclean on arrival and even after complaining it was never cleaned properly and smelt. The shower was blocked for the full two weeks. Read entire member review >>
An inside cabin and completely fine. As before a bedside cabinet is needed when the bed is a double ( my side had nothing and my only storage was on the floor!)
The only noise ( apart from the neighbouring cabins) was at 5.30am ish and again at 1am you could hear chairs and tables being scrapped across the lido deck above. I think we were below the bar area Read entire member review >>
More space than I thought, lots of storage space, very warm even though we had temperature on coolest setting. Francisco kept it spotless twice a day, always with a smile & friendly chat. Very dark (obviously) so it's very easy to sleep in until late. Shower cubicle small but functional with very hot water. Read entire member review >>
Excellent value for money - plenty of space for two people, comfortable beds and good pillows. Bathroom and shower was also a good size.
Our Cabin Steward Sam was always available if we needed anything and kept our cabin beautifully clean. Read entire member review >>
CABIN .. very happy
We booked an inside cos the balcony choice was twice the price… this is largely due to the ship having few balcony cabins compared to most other boats we found out later.
Ample storage and comfort and a perfectly functional en suite. Read entire member review >>
Directly above Starlights, not only do you hear every performance - you hear the rehearsals as well. If you have this cabin, make sure that you take earplugs which will muffle the sound.
When the room had a queen bed configuration there was no bedside table on one side and the corner of the bed was against the wardrobe. Read entire member review >>
Our inside cabin was compact but functional with good storage. Only downside was the lightswitch for the bathroom on the 'wrong' side of the door - you had to close the door to reach it and/or use the built-in hairdryer. First time we'd had an inside cabin - we missed the daylight in the mornings of course, but I suppose it made us spend less time inside and more on deck. The bed was very comfortable. The TV service was pretty appalling - no service in certain ports, bar the on-board info channels, and just a couple of movie channels showing the same two films all day.
Other than a drone (from the engines?) coming via the ventilation duct, it was very quiet, with only a few drunks coming past chatting loudly on one or two occasions in the early hours - couldn't hear anything from either side or above. Read entire member review >>
Hallway noisy, across from crew access, this cabin cant be made into a double as it is too narrow, also no chair or table as the photographs show on the generic photograph/floor plan on P & O site. Read entire member review >>

D204 is an inside cabin on D deck (deck 8). It was configured as a twin but can be changed to a queen size if that is what you want. There was enough space for all of our clothes and our suitcases fitted neatly under the beds. The bathroom was of a good size as was the shower, which for me is good as I need a lot of room! The cabin contained all we needed - Fridge, TV, Tea making facilities, Safe, Radio, Hairdryer, Telephone Complementary toiletries and Lifejackets. Although there was no natural light we both find it very comfortable and we tend not to spend too long in the cabin anyway. Our cabin steward was very thorough and anything you requested he provided - for example extra teabags, ice, water, etc. The cabin was cleaned and tidied in the morning and the beds turned down in the evening.
