Oasis of the Seas: don't go!
"Company convention, 480 people in our group. 5000 passengers. Overall, overcrowded, bad dinner service, pool too loud and packed in like sardines, massage therapist trapped me in room trying to sell "product", food..."Read More

Because I have been on this ship 20 times..We are higher level" Diamond Plus" members of their incentive program..Now the truths.. The ship is fun and the good parts can;t be beat...Here goes: 1. Hundreds became sick on the Oasis, the cruise was shortened...Royal Caribbean refuses to put simple paper toilet seat liners in the public restrooms to save money..This is disgusting as men are forced ...

First off I want to start by saying we were on the cruise that got returned to port a day early, were aloud off at Haiti, but were not aloud off at Jamaica and Cozumel. Started out as a smooth boarding process, nice, get on the boat and our rooms are no where near our family as they were suppose to be in fact they arent even in the ballpark of close. But 2nd day we tries to make the best of a bad ...

I was going to give them a three rating, but I'm writing this for people like me who stat with the worst and work their way up. Overall this was an average cruise. Being on one of the world's largest cruise ships gave it some novelty that we had to try once. It didn't take long to realize that a ship with 5000 passengers on a ship geared towards families with children would make for some pretty ...

I feel like Royal Caribbean is more about taking your money than offering you a good experience. We paid for the extra dining package, yet at every specialty restaurant we went to we were charged EXTRA for certain items (like steak or lobster, or any 'specialty' items on the menu). We also paid for gratuity in advance, yet on every bill we were charged an EXTRA 18% automatically for gratuity!! ...

I chose this ship because of its newness. It is a beautiful ship but I feel the common spaces can not accommodate the amount of people the ship holds. The shows require a reserved time that may not fit with your personal schedule and we went during our reserved time and there were no seats available for me and my family so we had to stand through a 45 minute show! Many specialty restaurants ...

We are long standing Royal Caribbean cruisers (17 years) with Diamond Status... soon to be Diamond Pus... My wife became disabled last year and this cruise proved to be the WORST experience we have ever seen since she became disabled. There was no evidence of "family handicapped restrooms," which required us to return all the way to our cabin if my wife needed a restroom. On a ship almost four ...

Worst cruise ever. Oasis cannot cope with this amount of passengers. Have read other reviews saying this and it's totally true. Have taken oasis twice. First time was ill with norovirus and projectile vomiting. This time, took Christmas cruise and fell ill again with flu virus. So many bad points: - RC did nothing special for Christmas - didn't even feel like Christmas the whole of the cruise. ...

I chose this cruise line because I was told it was the best. The cabins are too small, I requested early dining and was given late dining and the dining crew refused to correct the mistake that they made, and the guests can't do their own laundry because Royal Caribbean doesn't supply a room for laundry or ironing. Overall this cruise line "SUCKS". The crew need to attend a "Customer Service" ...

was not impressed by the ship, the staff was not very friendly, there was a language barrier at some points. the staff appeared not be very knowledgeable of the different events. asked 5 different crew members the same question and not a single one could answer the question. the ship does not provide irons in cabins. so pack a steamer, as irons are not allowed on aboard. be prepared to show your ...

I thought it would be a great idea. The service was very bad. The bathroom was not working according to the front desk they were going to send someone to the room, but they never did. The staff forgot my anniversary and to sit at the dining table and watch other people being song to for their anniversary and being given cake with happy anniversary was a slap in the face. I was told water would be ...
