Fairly dissappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

This cruise was for our 3rd anniversery on the 11th. We cruised with Royal last year on Jewel of the Seas last year for our 2nd and had a great time. So this year we decided to take Royal again. And looking at Oasis it seemed like it had a lot of potential for a great time. I can honestly say the only great thing about it has been our room attendant and our immediate wait staff in the dining ...

This year we decided to take a Christmas cruise with our family and Oasis of the Seas seemed a good choice, but what a let down! As a diamond member I've cruised more than 15 times with RCL and never expected this regression, it seemed a Carnival Cruise but more expensive. At dinner you could barely move between tables since the ship had more than 6700 passengers and tables were added to fit all ...

NOT my best cruise by far

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Just returned from Oasis of the Seas which was my 7th cruise on 4 different lines. I regret to say that it was NOT the best experience! The ship is very nice as was the staff. The food was mediocre at best. Very bland/tasteless for the most part. We actually started eating at the windjammer in an effort to find SOMETHING that taste good. We had SOME success at the Asian food station ...

Great staff - Poor Organization - Needs new management

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

10 years ago, I had the chance to travel with the Oasis of the Seas with my wife, parents, and young daughter (3yo). It was, back then, our first RC experience, as we had only traveled on Celebrity a few times before. We had figured that, with a young kid, it might be more fun to be with RC, and so we chose the Oasis at the time. After a 10 (!) years hiatus, we decided to go back, now with 2 kids ...

Cruise line mess ups.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Starting out the staff is really good, they try and help and make things better. The aqua show amazing. Ship is clean and alot to do. That all being said, had Cruise booked for a year for a party of 36 people. Got on ship and as soon as my party did the dinning got messed up. The rooms got changed. My wife and I spent the first 3 days every morning at customer service for atleast 3 hours trying to ...

Disappointing

This was my 5th sailing on Oasis and most probably my last. Royal is definitely dropping the ball and they keep lowering the standards that have been so high for years. The food was mediocre at best and the service was also not up to the standards that Royal has been known for. Cape Liberty port check in was super fast and organized for a sold out sailing. Friendly staff also helped. ...

Not Blind Friendly, Advertised as being more friendly than it is.

My visually disabled gf and her visually disabled family choose this cruise as a celebration of life get together for her family. We paid as much as possible in advanced, and asked about specific amenities (such as a reader) to assist her and her family. We were assured from the sales staff about capable the ship was. It was mostly hot smoke. Below are a list of issues that I would encourage any ...

Worst cruise experience so far

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

User Avatar

Honestly this cruise experience for me was one of the worst cruises ive ever had. No ironing rooms on each floor (which carnival has). Shows like the aqua show getting cancelled without notifying or rescheduling. Stateroom not having soap, little towel animals, or vacuumed floors (carnival does a better job). Stateroom people never answer the phone when called. Beverage packages shown pre cruise ...

Too crowded covid still being on ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

User Avatar

The ship was filled to capacity 100%. there was no social distancing because I could not avoid the crowds. I thought the ship would not be packed full. What a joke. I would have not booked the cruise this soon but at the time I was told I would lose my credits from the previous cruise that was cancelled. I would have like to wait longer because COVID is not over yet. We were all feeling a bit ...

Uncomfortably Crowded

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

User Avatar

In today's economic climate, things will change. It was inevitable that cruise lines will try to make up for lost time by booking as many people as possible. However, if you cruised anything in the past and observed the insane crowds it just became uncomfortable to do even the most menial things on this ship. Even trivia games were full capacity. Sure, over time it was ok to find some ...
