Fantastic Cruise
"1) The Cape Liberty cruise port is a mess, mostly because of the layout but also because there is no one there directing anyone. For a cruise port that gets a lot of drive-up cruisers, that is silly...."Read More

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

I went on this cruise with my friends and family, and we all had a great time. Because of the big size, it was a little hard to navigate, and The waters were a bit shakey. Other than that, it was mostly smooth sailing. We had a great time, but we did have to miss a stop due to safety issues in Haiti. Perfect day in Coco cay by Royal Caribbean was one of the nicest private islands I've ever been ...

Had a great time. The ship was so big with so much to do. Loved the protein smoothies from the vitality spa cafe. Food was excellent. All the shows we amazing...from the exciting dive show, ice show, funny comedians, and musicals. Crowded hot tubs at times. At breakfast mostly from the Park cafe which is kinda grab and go. Ate breakfast in the main dining room which was most excellent and a must ...

We had an amazing time celebrating NY on the Oasis. We chose this cruise because we loved the idea of a longer cruise that included stops in Curaçao and Aruba which were new to us. Cabin Went with a balcony guarantee and got deck 6 forward near the Vitality Spa and gym. I was worried about movement but it was minimal and was a great cabin. Very quiet, great location only 1 deck up from the ...

This is my 27th review for Cruise Critic. Unlike some reviewers that join this group just to complain about a bad experience, I have, for the past 10+ years felt obliged to write about my cruise experiences. I am a professional writer in another life which tends to make my reviews long and thorough. If you want to know simply if we liked our time on the Oasis, just count the stars. If you want to ...

I have never sailed on an Oasis class ship. So we choose this ship for that experience and also it was sailing out of Bayonne, N.J. Which is only an hour and a half ride for us. Embarkment and departure from the ship was so easy and quick. No waiting in line, straight in, sea pass was scanned from phone, off to x-ray, sent to counter with no one ahead of us .. sea pass scanned again and ...

I am back from a cruise (8/27-9/3-2023)Staff was outstanding. Food was great. The French restaurant we went twice and once to Chops and rest of nights we ate in dining room. Johnny Rockets breakfast was wonderful. Shows CATS was slow but fun . Frozen show was fun but Aqua 80s was best even though it was short was because of the ship rocking and pool water. Comedy shows funny. Bingo was fun I ...

We took this cruise out of Cape Liberty in July 2023. Awesome cruise, I really can't say enough about it. This was our first cruise on a big ship and it did not disappoint. Plenty to see and do, and my kids (15, 13, and 9) were entertained the whole time. The food was pretty good (the standard cruise cuisine that can range from good to just ok) and the service was also good. There are a ton of ...

Fantastic - something for everyone!

This was a multi-generational trip, and everyone had a blast! My husband and I just wanted to relax; I would start my day early, grab a smoothie, head up to the Solarium and relax until brunch. Then we would head to the other end deck 16 - we had a Casita several days of the trip, and that was just perfect. Whenever it got too hot, we would hit a waterside or head back down to the air ...

Arrival/departure - Easy as could be! On and off the ship within 10 minutes. Stateroom- Central Park Balcony (Deck 11) - Great location, room had ample storage, and clean. Room attendant Greine was so accommodating - they now do room cleaning 1x a day (instead of 2x prior to COVID) Crew - Attentive, friendly, constantly cleaning! Dining - Main Dining Room - - We did My Time ...

My wife booked because a group of her family was going. Wonderful ship and the service was great. Shows were great and lots of things to do on the ship. Buying out of stores were too expensive but the food was wonderful with the package. We had a really nice room with a balcony. I, personally liked waking up to looking out across the ocean. Very relaxing but having so many on the ship was a little ...
